24:20 "You don't give a kid a gun for Christmas". "That's right, Joe. He'll shoot his eye out."
Do me a favor don't let the comments tell who the murderer is that's like not cool
Before it was dragnet , Lord I remember back in 1967 watching dragnet and they weren't reruns, that's the TV with TV and it was dang good
What do you say to a man with a bomb? Got a light?
“Expert” Witness impeached his own testimony
The Chevrolet ad even admits it's using subliminal advertising.
Marijuana, that dreadful drug that used to make us violent ... if we could be bothered.
I'm surprised that fingerprints in the truck weren't checked. This Paul guy had a record and suspended license. Anyway, good show as they tried to give him a chance to clear himself. Go Friday and Smith!
How sad…
He’s not very good at running from the cops, is he? LA sure has changed.
If I am the the judge, she walks-period.
This is so sad. The boy who had the gun will never get over it.
If it’s not yours, don’t touch it.
"A boy's best friend is his mother."
Crack me up how they flick their cigarette ashes on the floor as well as putting them out.
2 x Loser
YOU CAN KILL 4 PEOPLE IN California ,AND WALK AWAY,WELL IN HIS CASE ROLL.
interesting how in "olden days" drivers could takehome and use company vehicle😮
Remember this. And who ever was in the living room would yell its on and i had the biggest mouth
Now wait I'm ignorant, I heard the judge say he could reach only one conclusion you guys are either dishonest or morons isn't that two?
This was a good one! Love the crime scene analysis guy at the end, put hard work in to make sure he was innocent before assuming he was guilty, then wanting to see the poor guy when hes let off the hook.
In 69, the rebellion against falling in the habits of drinking alcohol like our parents became a prevalent thing. I remember riding with my father and got his pint of oil from the glove compartment. I told myself, we had this weed and it didn't make us act like a drunk. It quickly became the intoxication of choice for the young. Can't smoke it today. I guess I out grew it.
This terrible but true. Ever since I was teenager in the 70s, the 714 on the badge reminded me of qualudes. The number was imprinted on the pills. The connections we make are sometimes funny.

I remb watching this and Perry Mason w my grandma the old black and white tv no remote
22:40 Back then, they put the religious crooks in jail where they belonged.
Interesting. The episode reminds me of the recent child stabbings, and the inability of the parents of the perpetrator to do anything. Yes theydid report the bahaviour to the police, but too late. These things need picking up straight away. Not the fault of the police. And the attitude ofvthe mother reminds me of the attitude of social media GBNTALKtv and other right wing outlets. Ty He govt has to take actionThat means curfews on white extremists thugs and the Islamists must be cleared out of the mosques and madrasas. And .osques inspected regularly and licensed and a abolition of Friday Prayers. A tion must be taken to ring home to thevthugs in both communities tha we are not going to tolerate unruly behaviour.
Can you imagine how cruel it would be? Thanks for this.
if anybody fell in love with jack webb it was me
This show aired on the day I was born. My grandma used to make the best meringues!

The volume is fine, check your device.
So Joe Friday throws his cigarettes on the street.--- street littering.
Men who can't say "no", to their wives, even when it will crush the family, are weak. Great episode.
At least they knew how to deal with murderers and criminals in general back in those days!
Now days these stupid liberals abort their "babies". WIN WIN.
Yet, another mother, blind to what her almost adult child's activities. My mother was married at 17, and a mother at 19. Once we dip our toes into adult activities, we aren't children anymore, and we feel it in our souls, just as seeing a beautiful sunset, feel the presence of God. I've known so many mothers like this one, "you're persecuting my child. He's a good boy/girl", Then, when something bad happens, it's everybody else's fault. I never had time for these women.
The mother is hoping against hope, that sonny boy will straighten out. However, her attitude suggests disregard for others. Deplorable.
7:59 It us not his job to convince those people. The prosecutor was supposed to do that. Honestly, I’m not certain that the “expert” would have swayed my opinion with that childish cloud of numbers. That was not proof. It was one man’s opinion.
your eloquent words on the credibility of the "expert witness" roughly match my assessment that his game of numbers was a crock of shit. Apart from not being an expert witness on the subject etc... his "assertions" were simply "let's say the chance of x, y and z are 1/100" He didn't even state he believed the chance was 1/100.
Love the show watched yrs ago w my grandma wish it was still around
Back in the 70s my dad and his doctor would smoke during my dad's physical
I love Jack. I'd hate to have been that criminal, or any criminal, across any desk from him. I wonder what he was like, in real life?
Hats,....at one time all men wore them. Then suddenly, all gone. Suits, too. Funny. Ha.
