i use my normal boots with rocket boot enchant first and then swap to the tbc rocket boots which have a similar effect to use it right before blood wing. Nothing special about it, just 2 different movement speed effects tied to boots 👍

@@Oscar-ds2vb Its not a TBC enchant, its a item. They are called Rocket Boots Xtreme for the ap version, but there is also an sp version. They dont share cd with the rocket boot enchant since its a different effect

it is the common strat in strong dps groups to just aoe down adds under boss without hard swapping to them on servers like this. i think you can start looking in the mid 4000s for Onyxia raids, early 5000 for Trial of the Crusader and then mid to high 5000 you can hope for ICC raids. The groups always asks for way more gear score than actually required since they hope to replace skill with gear so you might have to look for quite a bit. You also should be able to get into Vault of Archeron in the mid 4000s if lucky. Gearing is basically spamming Heroic Dungeons for emblems and tier 9 set, buy some BoE (bind on equip) items on the auction house und then you can get into raids. You can also join the warmane discord for tips, you can easily find it by googling warmane unofficial discord

newb here, what is LB?

the main reason we didnt pull more trash or trash into bosses is mainly related to how this server is buffed in terms of hp and damage which also applies to most trash mobs in addition to it being 0 buff. The biggest things you can do for a Speedrun is pulling as much trash as you can as efficiently as possible, that can mean dragging one pack into multiple more, having hunter pets run ahead to pull more or even dragging leftovers into bosses. Also things like skipping marrowgar trash like they did on the race in classic or skipping part of the trash before gunship can be possible depending on how your server is coded. Reminder that paladin immunities and mage iceblock can be used to pile up big trash packs before the rest of the raid moves in to kill them. Or optimizing the orbs in the bloodquarter to clear as much trash with it as possible while tanks have a free action potion running and dks using army. I recommend looking into some classic raids that aim to clear quick and see if you can take some inspiration from there. Some things def wont work on private servers as they do there but it can def help to see things in a different light

im using a spellpower mainhand setup, so no weapon swapping at all

its a Weakaura i used to check how fiery weapon procs work on warmane with deepwounds. It serves no real purpose outside of that to be honest

@@Chriswolty i do have a tracker to show current bleed tick and also rend damage on the bottom right of the screen. Its also a weakaura but i only managed to make it work on warmane

i kept my fire ele up until it ran out and then i kept placing down magma totem in a spot where i know the boss/ooze will be to use nova. Generally you try to predict where the boss will stand for the next 20s so you dont have to spend multiple gcds replacing magma all the time

the stronger the rdps in the raid and the better the abom player, the less melees have to chase oozes around the room thankfully

the addons i use are: BLT to track raid cds DBM for raid mechanics ElvUI for my UI LKAnnounce for easier valk assignments NiceDamage for better to look at dps numbers RatingBuster to convert stats into % directly on items Skada as my dps meter SpellReplay so people see what im pressing Weakauras, those show essentially all my procs, debuffs, buffs and cds

if you time it well, without delaying anything and in between swingtimers, you will see around 2% damage increase overall. I think its worth but only if you are comfortable with the class

skill/experience difference in speedrunning specifically is immense. No one on pservers is speedrunning so no one spends much thoughts on how to optimize it, i.e. marrowgar trash skip and also trash skip before gunship. Then there is the part where the server this video is from has buffed content, so most enemies in ICC hit a lot harder and also have more hp. So a lot of big trash pulls that you can do on classic would one shot our tanks on that server, so strats would need to be altered just because of that. Not having class buffs like classic got and generally having worse scripting on many classes also cripples the comp a bit. You can see that if you watch Realmfirst videos from Frostmourne, their seasonal server. As for general skill difference from class to class there for sure is still a difference, but many of the high parsing players on classic have a private server background aswell, so i wouldnt generalize but just by sheer numbers classic is bound to have a lot of good players and i think thats good for the game, im playing classic myself and having good competition to push yourself is always enjoyable 👍

@@PvtPJshorts i think the general playerbase on most pservers i know is more interested in progression, clean raids or at most individual boss speedkills/parsing. Speedrunning itself i dont think was ever rly rooted into the pserver community. I hope that changes a bit since its another thing to optimize and have fun with, now that it became more popular through classic

@@flohundflorian all of those Weakauras i use there are either made by me or a guildmate of mine who specialized in lua coding. I recently uploaded my classic UI to wagio so i will probably also do that soon with my warmane UI since triggers etc can vary a bit between those versions. But the majority of boss timers are just zydras dbm

its a great raid and a lot more exciting now after togc in classic. In the end we made this run for fun at the start of the year and i just didnt upload it till recently on CZcams but left it on my twitch instead. So i guess some people from classic assume we just got some bis chars quickly to try and flex now when ptr for icc is up. This guild has been around for over 3 years by now on warmane and this was just a fun project we tried, so i dont take those comments too serious ;)
