Too expensive when u can just do a small turbo and make 8-15 lbs of boost. Ive seen it done on 125cc lifan china engines. The ssr big valve head can handle boost. In the 125cc and 140 cc racing engines
@@stanb1455 I mean me yeah. I don't have enough experience or time to gain said experience. Just stating I've seen these little motors take 15 psi built right.

Pretty cool and looks like fun. $13,000 for a supercharger for 125cc engine though is pretty expensive, but I mean there's probably a couple people willing to pay that. I will say the $1,800 monkey/grom turbocharger kits though... They seem like a much better deal unless someone is insisting on supercharged. I just wished that after all the hard work, when engineers decide the project failed due to cost, that they would post the models for free for personal use (maybe within a few years I'll have a 3d printer for titanium and other metals, then I could theoretically print one for a couple hundred bucks for myself, those printers used are currently only 10x the cost of 1 of your superchargers)

Mr. Starodetko has done an amazing job, creating this tiny supercharger. I've followed this channel back since 2014, I believe it was, and I remember reading online about the troubles with financing and production costs. The more pleasure it gives me to see the kit ready for production. I'm considering a 125cc Honda, simply to be able to experience the thrills of such a little, yet efficient compressor. Thanks for sharing 👍

Can we adapt this on an Vertical engine, like those on the XLS 125 or NX 125?
Such adaptation will require a lot of R&D and funding.
Just pull the plug in the cylinder where the cab is mounted and ye will see speed , no need for supercharger

@@kostastark8951 electric ones just dont put out the airflow id need on a 12v system. It came out to something like 525,000 cc's per minute. Only pumps powerful enough were 120 or 220 volts
@@mopedmessiah In order to compress inlet air up to 1bar (which doubles the engine power), you have to spend up to 20% of engine USEFUL power. E.g. if your engine has 30hp power, air compression must take up to 6-7hp (at external load). The question is - where is an on-board electric source capable to provide 6-7hp to power, say, electric motor for rotating air compressor? Answer is evident for those who have some knowledge about engine theory - only engine crankshaft can provide the required power to rotate air compressor. Or energy containing in the exhaust gases which is enough to rotate gas turbine of a turbo charger.

I have a pagsta 50cc chopper with a dd50e2 engine. I'm currently looking to supercharge it and was wondering if this product would fit/work and also how far are you from production? I've been on your website and seen the full kit priced at $699 so I'm guessing you are selling these now

What 50cc takes 16 seconds to get to 50? Any competent transmission tuner could halve that. Without adding anything, other than roller weights and jets.
