Hi friend, which wires in the HDMI cable are responsible for carrying the video signal? I have a working smartphone screen, and I have a board similar to yours, I would like to use this screen on this board.

Well, had similar problems in 2024 trying to connect my 4TB hard drive to my Galaxy S9, now since cross compatibility has improved I was able to power up the drive and I was able to read the contents of the drive within a few seconds, and even start the playback of a movie, but...the move would never play for very long and it would shut off and then I would have to wait for the phone to again pick up the drive, rinse and repeat. I did try externally powered 4 hub USB port but for some reason it the phone never picked up the drive. I may, go ahead and pick up a large capacity SSD and see if I can get the phone to pick it up and play without interruption. The whole plan was to be able to put my phone on a landscape wireless charger and achieve unity with charging and consumption, meaning that I can power the hard drive and charge the phone at the same time and hopefully break even with the battery level or even charge it fully over time. Kind of a portable road trip entertainment system, also using a small blue tooth speaker. Wish me luck folks.

Thanks for the video, I tried the first method where you screw the wires to the adapter to connect a 10 meters hdmi cable to connect my projector to the AV receiver. All the connections where made well as I tried it with a tester, but It doesn't work. Surprisely this cable works if I connect the AV receiver to a TV. I thought that maybe the cable is too long and it looses quality that the projector requires. I tried to do another test connect the connectors to a short cable only 0,5 meters long. It happens the same. Now I will try the 3rd method and hope it will work.

Darn! That’s lots of work. I will just buy another cable instead if there’s something wrong with it; it’s just $2.60. 🥴

Right we need to know how much faster it charged the phoneif at all !? Also how much current can the phone accept/ also how can the battery accept! Making a battery charger that is completely it's own unit is a more real solution. If we don't know the answer to the prior question then I can't know if it is necessary.

The charging cable is not just a couple of wires it has an electronic board with multiple ICs which regulate the power pumped into the device and protect it from high current/voltage, plus cables with high power capability are often equiped with multiple 5v wires, my lightning cable has 2 5v wires (thick ones XD), so long strory short provide as many power as you want the cable will output its advertised specs.

I really like to get this hooked up to my Stylos 5 ! I have this overly noisy neighbor whom id like to tape all her antics. Being that most the recording will be tape between the wall the noise is loud yet decibel wise is low ?! Ive placed a pp in my phone that deaf people my use to increase volume of any and all sounds made and maybe recorded from this app. Yet i needed a quick fix pair of recording Headphone for this app yet was talked into using this ?! What better without a lot of hassle to get this properly hooked up to my phone (mic cord / other) ?! Need to have this as if i were in the same room with this person ?!
