I find this stuff very interesting, but always have a lot of questions. The family obviously went to a lot of expense to have this built, with stairs supposedly built to allow visitation. Was it all enclosed to prevent vandalism?

Does anyone know why it wasn’t flooded? With it being an underground room, it seems like it would be ready-made to collect and hold water.
