I used to like the history channel when it was about real history. Apart from a few mistakes RE: bible things being stated as fact, mostly they were consistent with fact. Now they only care about conspiracy theory stories or stories that cannot be confirmed.

I think the americas would still be disconnected from a global trade network until an age of discovery. The main reason it wasn’t found before was the sheer distance it was to travel to, and while Mu does bridge the gap a bit there is still one hell of a gap. Going by our history, cultures on the Americas never truly developed sea faring so it would be more likely the old world would still discover it. It’d truly depend on if the cultures of eastern Mu actually develop long haul ships capable of wresting to explore, but I’m almost tempted to say not really just because their main source of trade isn’t from island hopping like west Mu or Asia would become, they’d likely develop very very good coast hugging ships as there isn’t many islands to stop and trade near east Mu, between the Americas or just around it. But when the Americas are found, it’d most likely be Mu to find them, and to add them to the trade route or to colonise, I wouldn’t know. It’d again depend on the culture, but if it was east Mu to find it I’d guess the answer would most likely be Colonise.
