Side note when removing the extra material off of the glass and the metal piece do not use sandpaper or a grinder or anything like that because it will scare up the metal piece and it will look terrible. Yes I learned this the hard way. Always in too big of a hurry. Like my Dad always said, sometimes in order to go faster you got to slow down

When testing current, your meter says 10 seconds max! Every 15 minutes! What do you think this means? It means read amps for no more than 10 seconds, then open circuit. Wait 15 minutes. Then you can read amps again but for no more than 10 seconds. Hope this helps!
