Thanks, I sold both them and bought a Dumble Ods clone, I think the dumbloid sounds a little too muddy sometimes, zendrive is tighter but a little more compressed..anyway try Tanabe zenkudo or Dumkudo, I had the zenkudo and was amazing, better then both dumbloid and Zendrive

They are a lot. Just got one. Having second thoughts. This is the 2nd one I bought. But you can find one used for less. I just don’t understand using label makers for labels on such expensive pedals. Waiting on a shin’s drive though. I think that will be more my thing. I’m using the dumbloid to push my amp’s distortion.

Hey you mean you can set the iridium’s left out with IR (to go direct to mixer) then right out without IR (to go to poweramp then actual cab)??

I run an origin effects 'slide rig' into a Hotrod Compact OD then strymon delay and reverb into my iridium (Cab Sim off) then stereo out into two pedal babies (let and right channels) then orange 1x12s for bigger venues and it works great - tons of power huge stereo tone. Because of the modular nature of the set up I can use a fold-up trolly for both cabs and walk the rest from the car to the stage, easy - not a big 'lug' at all (and I'm 74 years young)! For smaller venues I just use one pedal baby into one 1x12 - no stereo but great all the same - I have used the iridium straight to out the desk for some small venues so I get stereo and this works exceptionally well with all the variations in amp/cab IR. So many options = much fun!!!

@@francescogatta5932 TS10 is close to it... it's really nothing special, but John Mayer used one once and now it's overpriced on the resale market. The Zendrive is pedestrian and gives very little tone control. And various versions of the Shin Dumbloid fluctuate in price from under $100 to $600. There is no intrinsic value in the two pedals you demoed.

@@PolaOpposite no pedal has real value in terms of how much we pay it, think about the klon centaur. This is a comparison between two pedals, you maybe right about overpriced pedals but your comment is out of context.

@@francescogatta5932 If you are limiting free speech, then sure, it's out of context. But for the average bloke, when we're talking about reviewing or comparing pedals the context of price is always at the forefront, that is to say that we're watching the video to inform our purchases and where our money is best spent. And it makes sense since price is what prevents us from buying an actual Dumble. Nevertheless, my pov is not a commentary on your presentation or your playing. You did a great job of comparing the two.

Ok, I get what you mean. I don’t want to limit anything, you’re opinion is important and I appreciate your comment, my point is that there’s no mention in this video about the price or which pedal is worth the money. Anyway zendrive in much cheaper than the dumbloid and really close to it 🙂
