Oof ya that’s difficult. If you can get even just two other people, you should be able to take it down with some decent level ice types as it takes 256% damage from ice.

Not sure if you have any friends that play but because it takes 256% damage from ice it can be fairly easy to take down with just 2-3 trainers and good ice counters.

@@PocketJonathan42 that’s how I do it if I ever want a meltan. Only problem is you need the switch and the lets go games which not everyone has so Pokémon home is usually just the easier alternative

@@PocketJonathan42 i see, but i saw some youtubers with old videos when they do mega rayquaza raid it doesnt give them any mega energy after catching it still says 0 mega energy . i wonder why.

@ilusomu Mega Rayquaza has only been out once before and that was during GO Fest 2033. Those raids gave mega energy. Regular (non-mega) Rayquaza had been in raids plenty of times but as they aren’t mega raids they don’t give mega energy.

I was saying we have already had the primal raid days for Kyogre and Groudon so they might want to have Rayquaza out sooner rather than later.

Ya it would be cool if they came back with the costumes this year. Last time you could get all 3. We’ll see what they do in both regards this year. I feel like we’ll have to wait awhile for the paradox legendaries to come to the game but who knows! Would definitely be cool to see them in Pokémon GO!

I think that’s a really good prediction! I agree that August could very well see a Mega Ray raid. Plans could have changed and it could be before GO Fest as well on that raid day. But I do think that raid day will be something else. I thought about a Galar event as well. Shiny Galarian birds would be pretty hype. Galar definitely needs more love in Pokémon GO and a Galar event would be nice. Definitely hanging on to that latest Master Ball to see what’s coming. I wonder if the birds would be perm shiny release or more like Meltan and Smeargle. With the spawn, catch, and flee rates they could definitely leave it perm and have them be very rare still.

Swinub is popular so at some point probably, yes. It has had a comm day and a comm day classic. Last one was in 2023 so it might be a bit still. But I can't really say for certain, just my best guess.

Yes it could be something else entirely for sure. My main thinking was proximity in time to the Primals. But I could definitely see building to it in August too or it could even be an unlock during Go Fest.
