I'm currently using in any tone quad 5n1 the 30 watt model. Which I have peaked at 50 Watts on SSB and 30 on am. I really do want to get one of these radios but I may have to part with some things first to get it. I have a easy ftdx 1200 and if I can sell that then maybe I can get two of these radios. But more likely one of these radios and a nice 200 to 500 watt amp. Thanks to the videos enjoy everything that you do 73. From 324 Western Pennsylvania.

Just taken my 3 verticals down while having a new 1st floor steel balcony installed. I use a Moonraker LMA-L 10m telescopic mast/6m flagpole combo supporting a ½w T2LT, I use this over my ⅝w GainsMaster. Contemplating a Hexbeam on 11m or SY-3 I have already boxed, it's good to have the ££ and space to experiment, don't you just love it. what kind of camera is it UDX-151 you can do great easy mods. to i have put fisheye lens on my sonyhandy camera also my flip camera with duck tape back in 2015-2021 and my 2009 canon rebel t3 can do different lens with videos and photos.

I recently got the Red Version of this unit. I think it's about 200W. Problem is, I cant find a place to mount it! I have a 2017 F150 with the center console. I mounted my CB Radio just on the left side facing straight up! I did hook it up and tested it. If you key your mic for too long, it gets really HOT!? Maybe I should get one like yours??

Hard to believe how much they cram into such a small circuit board, that meter is interesting but looks painfully small, I hope you get around to doing an actual demonstration of how it transmits and receives, great video as always

When I first saw that meter I was like that is odd. But after I saw what all it did it was cool. What a cool radio. BTW that has to be the smallest circuit board in a radio that size I've seen. Everything is in a chip nowadays. This aint your dads cobra 29 HAHA!

Hi John. I was just thinking that with the recent introduction of FM to the radios in America and for us UK CB'rs, that you could introduce FM power tests to your reviews. It's an important feature. What do you think? Also, the RCI Ranger 2950 beep is the smallest and shortest beep known to mankind!

I have the QT-40 and as much as I like its retro-style analog physical needle meter, this one with the embedded frequency display makes me jealous! Having to push up+down on the mike and reading the frequency 2 digit by 2 digit gets tiresome quickly on the QT-40, so I'd happily give up the analog needle for this display 😄 Thanks for the interesting and informative review.

I like the bar graph meter. It looks like an '80s digital dash from a car lol and also makes the frequency counter bigger and easier to read. (for us legally blind people)

How does this radio do as far as temperature? Have good audio?

Pretty cool radio! Really like the stealth low profile look of it. Be a lot cooler if it had SSB also though.

Thats a nice looking radio.but i wish they would have made the knobs and front bezel frame in chrome instead of black with black it makes it look cheep looking.

What was the center antenna wave ? You mentioned making.a ground plane out of a ring with 4 fire sticks a what is the ring and what is the center antenna

Waiting for conditions up in wii only have couple jamaican stations plus with quiet, i found 2 additional locals thats 2 more than i had before!! Nice radio with old style control look Isnt key beep the tone when you key up? Be nice if had browning ping!!
