@@willie1978 Stock piston still in this one. For now if it has an issue I will probably stay with std bore / std compression. Mostly trail riding so it’s hard to use the power it has now. I could only imagine what more would be like

@@Dangelo-n8i on a budget mods would be the easy pull clutch arm. A good cases saver like moose racing. A set of GBC tires. A gripper seat cover from fourwerx carbon

Almost all sport atvs are tuned for 175lb rider. But even if you are 175lbs there is still some tricks that can be done to make them the best for your riding style and skill level. You could start by setting ride height. I do 7.5 pegs 8” under the radiator. If you can’t get the ride height set it’s best to go ahead and send the shocks for to rocket ron to get valved / sprung for your weight. For trail riding go ahead and back the low speed adjuster all the way out. Loosen the rebound at the bottom of the shock to speed up the travel. High speed compression is personal preference

Performance powder coating in Dallas GA did the work on the frame. They would have the color saved if you are interested in it. Graphics I use mx pro decals. I am not sure on the plastic conversion. I have never tried it

For now I left the raptor with the ball joints rotated forward. I have not had time take it back to the trail to test ride yet. Yes it has the Hess linkage in the rear. Rocket Ron built the shocks for this set up. I set the ride height to his suggestion. 8’ front 7.5’ rear

there is the normal hickson clutch basket and there is the hickson clutch kit

I have personally never got a phone call bike from a YFZ 450r I sold that the clutch basket exploded. I do have upgraded Hinson clutch baskets in my YFZ 450r I race. If you have the budget it’s not a bad idea to swap out known weak points. But as far as it being your first mod day one. I would do big 3 first

What power commander do you have? It will need a Dyno tune file. I sell ours for PC5, full exhaust, no air box lid for $100. The filter cleaner & oil I like for UNI is no-toil you can get it on Amazon or Rocky Mountain. It will last you a good amount of time.

@@limitlesspowersports hi there, i have a dyno jet power commander 5. I dont understand what you meant by PC5 but i would like to know what you meant by it. I was thinking of a getting a full RP aftermarket intake. But i dont know how to tune it to that. That is the only negative part for me. I dont have nor know the tunes and in my country, we dont have any dyno tuning facilities here unfortunately so you gotta tune the stuff yourself

Yes I did the regular length. I like the sound. The tone is a little deeper. I had a 2023 Raptor do a shorty, pc6, FCI last week. The sound from the shorty is a little pitchier and does put up a little bit more power up top

I can only speak for 4x1 front, 9x8 rear with yfz hubs. It’s ok for the rear to be a little more narrow than the front

You would have to get on the list with me and go over what all you are looking to get. Long travel shocks are custom built for the riders weight and riding style $1,100 so it needs to be set up for the rider the first time. Total build cost was around $19,500

The RP race sounds really good. I did the full length so it’s not as loud. The sparks exhaust is usually pretty aggressive

Heard that. I still have pro armor on my personal 06 ltr 450. Looking to build 3 more from spare parts to sell. After that I probably won’t be getting anymore.

All of the big names for exhaust are within 1hp of each other. I use dasa, rossier, RP race. Yes I would definitely get a programmer. If you are on a budget the optimization from hmf may get you by but I would not pay new price for it $80 maybe. You are going to want to upgrade to a power commander with a custom map or a vortex. Remove you air box lid and get a dual stage UNI air filter at the same time.

LTR 450 is fuel injected, and 50inch wide would be the main difference.

This one sold for $12,500 a little over a year ago.

I got the file for this one from Cuervo Racing. Highly recommended. Throttle response is spot on and power is there. No need to take this one to the Dyno. If you get used to the big 3 power the stage 3 cam on the Raptor has almost no bottom end loss. It gives you 3,000 rpm of useable power. If you look at the stock cam it stops making power around 6,000 rpm so you may as well shift to get back into the power range. With stage 3 it pulls all the way to redline.

The frame is done by performance powder coating in Dallas GA. The graphics are by mxprodecals

I put engine ice in it just because I had it on the shelf. With the right tune I would guess it runs cooler than stock. I don’t have a coolant temp gauge on it
