He will become insecure, don't want you to leave the house because he needs you there. You become stressed you're going to stick with him you won't abandon him hopefully. But you didn't think that far ahead. You had a good 20 years or so. Not a hater have no problems with the ladies. Not concerned one way or the other. But I have witnesses this a number of times. House numbers. Keep an eye out for a picture frame, a tray, or similar. Pick something that harmonizes with the architecture of your home. Attach house numbers to the object and display your street address in a prominent location. I acquired a cheapo plastic frame from a trash heap, but painted white it looks exactly like intricate cast iron work, very posh Victorian.

Be aware that anything you put in the front of your home might grow legs and run away. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I bought a matching wicker set for my front porch (loveseat, coffee table, and two side chairs). The very next thing I did was purchase bicycle cables with padlocks and some heavy duty eyebolts. I drilled a few holes into the wood deck of my porch for the eyebolts. I threaded the bike cables through the under structure of the wicker furniture and locked it down. A few evenings later, I heard the patter of little feet beating a hasty retreat down my porch steps. My furniture remained though somewhat disarranged. The culprits had pulled my wicker to the ends of its tether then let it drop and ran away. Not many thieves are determined enough to carry bolt cutters. I did the same with an enormous grape vine wreath received as a gift from my late parents (high sentimental value). It is lovely on the wall of my front porch, enhanced with silk florals and secured with a bicycle lock. As an added bonus, the mourning doves love to nest in that wreath every spring. Even their little ones sing.

A large serving bowl can be used as a bird bath. Note that birds prefer water that is no more than an inch or two in depth.

My neighbor woman is not just nosy, but hostile. Her man is civil enough and even apologized for her behavior, but I've never seen him try to stop her. She curses at me, spits, throws trash into my yard, and comes outside to stare at me when I work in my garden. One of her favorite things is to turn on a radio full blast without tuning in the station so there's lots of static. I try never to provoke her for there is no reasoning with unhinged and I fear she might poison my dogs. I let my garden go to weeds because the vibe from her was just too awful. This summer I am determined to tough it out and hope she gets bored and gives up. My 6 foot privacy fence looks identical to yours. The gaps between the boards are only about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. She walks right up to her side of the fence and peers at me between the boards. I am on the lookout for some sort of screen to hang along the fence that will block her view. I have plans to plant a privacy screen of shrubbery along that fence but it will take time to grow. I need those shrubs to grow at least 10 feet tall because she has a raised back porch that gives her a full view of most of my garden. I love your shower door fountain and surely a water feature will block out some of her nasty noise.

Outdoor mood lighting. Gut the wiring and sockets from a thrifty ceiling chandelier. Paint the fixture (verdigris, wrought iron black, etc). Refit with solar or LED candles. Hang it from a tree or porch ceiling. I love your table lamp idea, but you don't need to use a cloth lampshade. Consider swapping out to a translucent plastic or a woven basket. A patio or porch adjacent to the house can feel a little cramped so I love to hang a mirror on the wall of the house within that outdoor space. A mirror expands the space, adds movement, and reflects the garden which multiplies that lovely view. Windy days can play havoc with outdoor decor. I salvage the weights from inside the base of discarded floor lamps. Those weights are a sealed plastic unit that is probably filled with sand (never tried to cut one open). You could probably fill your table lamp with sand or rock to prevent it from toppling over.

Gurl, I’m so glad you telling these younger women about the pit falls of stealing these older wives husband😅😅😅, you truly did not win the prize. The wife is ready for the burden of his aging, been there all the while, but you come along for money, car and gifts that you find later NOT worth the time and being with an old man, he winding down and you coming into your true womanhood and frustrations build with his inability, stagnation, grumbling and grumpiness. Oh, and they usually get angry with you for messing up his family, wife and kids usually keep their distance. The older as scripture says, teach the younger, but they don’t want to make time to listen and learn cause they know it all. Y’all better take heed.

I love you, you make me feel normal...lol. I had a fascination with perfume since I was 5. I was poor like you once upon a time but I still smelled good. My first perfume that I still wear to this day is the classic Anais Anais by Cacharel when I was 12. Believe it or not it still smells like I remember it and it brings back memories from my teenage years too. Now I own very expensive stuff like you just because I can do to hard work that I have nobody to thank but myself. When I don't care about some of my perfumes anymore, I give them to my mom, she loves my stuff and I am lucky she is still alive to wear them. Cheers!

Did you notice that most ladies who married older men that passed away say, I miss him!!! And probably the one that she loved him the most !!! And the one that she didn’t separate from him, only death did !!!

You’re not your body, you’re not your mind, you’re your soul. If you find your soulmate, you’re destined to live a happy life regardless of age difference. Also , who is going to fall sick one die first is something in the hand of God not us. I had two aunties, one married a same age man and got widowed after just 7 years, the other one married a man 2 decades older, she died before him. My grandfather died at 90 and had 3 younger wives, with more gaps than usual, yet 2 of them died before him. So a man in his 60 with no health issues is much more secured than a younger man with health issues that is proven to knock him down in few years.

A man’s fortune is his money and his personality traits, a woman’s fortune is her beauty and youthfulness. I would rather marry a younger gold digger over a same age CEO of a company or a PHD professor who lost her value as a woman and became masculine . Men age like wine, women age like milk, don’t forget that. Most of the time marrying your college sweetheart end with separation because the after 10 years he will look no change or even better while she will look his mom more than his wife unless really he has a bad disease that drained his health.
