This is super helpful. Thank you! My AC stopped working in 99F heat today, and "replace humidifier pad" was one of the error codes that came up on the thermostat

I live in Alabama and have an outside water heater located under my mobile home, we had a very bad flood (12 inches of rain) and it completely destroyed my water heater so now I have been without hot water for 2 days. My landlord is replacing it today so hopefully tonight I'll finally have hot water again bc it's been a rough 2 days!

My furnace is different. Rather than a humidistat control everything i controlled by the high tech thermostat which also controls the humidity. It does that by automatically adding water based on the THI set. Aside from that this was helpful in showing how to replace the filter.

My home had nothing connected to the drain hole..(I don´t see the drain hose) .maybe the builder forgot to connect it? The filter was filthy after receiving the home...is it because of there being no drain hose connected?

Without a U.V. anti-bacterial light inside it, the petri-dish effect, (with black mold and Legionella bacteria growth), IS POSSIBLE in these units. Here is the formula for bacterial, fungi, molds to grow: DARK, DAMP, WARM = Creature comfortable for those species to flourish.

SUPER helpful. My Humidifier had begun leaking water due to calcium build up around the drain hole, and in the hose. I removed the filter, but wasn't sure about the top piece orientation. This video brought piece of mind because I've been stressing whether I put the top cover to the pad on backwards or not.

Thanks for this sir, my water heater got flooded like about no more than 3 inches but the water is also inside the tank’s floor, I can still feel water in there, it’s no more than 2 inches high maybe less. I guess it’s ok to be able to turn it on
