i think this is great.
Porkins *did* make it to the end of the trench, and *did* get a shot. Vader was hot on his tail, but he made it. He just relied on his computer instead of relying on a hokey religion and an ancient weapon.

This would have been more fun. If the pilot which, used his targeting computer before launching his missile, had made the "shot" ... that doomed the "Death Star". With re-editing that would have easily been more believable (smile...smile).

I always thought it’d be hilarious for some comedy channel to do an adult cartoon about the ‘Academy’ that Luke whines about in Star Wars, focusing on Wedge and Porkins as roomies. Sort of an “odd couple” situation. Oh the shit talking could be hilarious!! Call it “Red Team Roomies”
