Just a note to say tax free shopping only applies if you don't use the item in Japan. Memory cards for cameras can be incredibly expensive in Japan so it's tempting to ask for the discount. But if you pop it into your camera and use it then you may have to pay the tax at the airport. They flag-up sales like these on your passport, so be ready to show the goods when you leave the country, and they need to be in an unopened pack.
Those little guys look super cute though
Gotta love how much English influence there is
Tengus expelled from 109 nations
Would love to see places to see in Autumn. Thank you for the Winter suggestions
What season would you like to see next?
Best helpful video .thank u
Lol it’s ARTIFICIAL SELECTION
I love how the last few were definitely the worst..🥴😂
Can you tell me which city is cheaper to book a flight to
No, because thats depends where you live. Its either Tokyo or Osaka, just search for both and check.
@@InakaAdventure is hokaido expensive
About the same as anywhere else in the country, some of the trains are more pricey
How is the internet signal in japan???
Great
I once had a dream where a kitsune called me a "fellow kitsune" oddly enough, I like fried tofu
Huh thats a bit weird, perhaps you were one in a previous life
@@InakaAdventure i personally don't believe in stuff like reincarnation, because it takes the beauty out of life, you only get one life, so you should enjoy it, the idea of reincarnation makes it seem like you can wait to enjoy your life, when in reality, you can't afford to waste a single second on things that bring no value to your life.
Either I am one right now, or this is a massive coincidence.
Personally I dont believe in reincarnation myself, but i believe the theory is you dont remember your past life, so its not like youd waste it just because you knew about it
I like the content of the video, but it looks like I'm having a lecture...
Well I try to be informative in my Itinerary videos, but if you want something a bit more casual you should check out my night out in Tokyo here czcams.com/video/0h97ZAyANC4/video.html
Thank you for this information ❤️ We are travelling from India - considering the summer I think we should be able to manage it - Our concern is more on Typhoon that I am reading a lot about that might happen in End of August - is it safe to travel considering the Flight bookings and Travel within?
Typhoons do happen around that time but its safe to travel, its possible flights get delayed or cancelled but they wont fly if the conditions are dangerous
What about people who don’t like rice?
Eat noodles or bread
Thanks for this video 🥲
My pleasure 😊 if you ever get a chance to visit please do!
How about carrying bags 😮😅
Thats what I do, get in that free arm exercise
@@InakaAdventure haha okay
Great video, super helpful. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love cash Society ❤
Me too
There is no way that most Americans would be able to fit into japanese rental shorts. Otherwise a great video. Disneyland is well worth a visit But I've never been to the other park which is better.24y5m
gave me an audible chuckle
Oh look !
Pity your English grammar is so poor, right from the title ! You need to use the past pluperfect: What I wish I had known before coming. Very common error by US Americans, but unusual for an Australian ?
Sure but there is something you might not be considering, certain word orders are more enticing to click on, and ultimate if a video does better that's what matters in this ecosystem
🤓
Mister, you are a life saver. Tysm, i will travel tomorrow and didn’t know what to do.
No worries, there are some neat bars in Osaka you can check out here: czcams.com/users/shortsW_zL4AsUrow?si=8QQsPDtB0zK_IjE5 and I also put out a Tokyo nightlife guide if you're heading up that way here: czcams.com/video/0h97ZAyANC4/video.html
@@InakaAdventure you are the best 🥹
Have a great trip!
Wait a sec no vegans in japan okay im going to pack my bags !!!
haha
thank you for this video, this is the best video about japan ever . really helpful thank you
Cheers!
Hi! Question: What pass do you recommend for this itinerary? Tokyo Osaka Shirakawago village Owakundani,Hakone Yakohoma Tokyo I use the JR calculator is close to $270.
Over what time frame?
@@InakaAdventure 10 day in August
With those destinations and over 10 days you're probably fine not buying any pass and just using normal tickets, you could save a bit of cash by flying between tokyo and osaka but its not such a big deal
@@InakaAdventure thank you so much for the help.... I think I'm going to arrive in Osaka airport is cheaper Itinerary is: Arrive in Osaka Next day go to Owakudani Hakone or Kawachiko Yokohoma Tokyo few day here Then explore Osaka rest of the days here Maybe Kyoto cause is not far from Osaka... Is a little expensive when is a family of 3 that transportation.....$600 just to get around 🤔
Point to point trips are cheaper when you dont have a rail pass rather than round trip, the only thing id say is the order seems kind of odd it should probably arranged by closest city to next closest city
They have announcements to watch out for touts in Japanese, but I’d imagine it would be more useful if it was in english 😅
They have announcements in English too from loud speakers on the road side entrance between golden gai and kabukicho now
Excellent video. Interesting and informative 🇯🇲
Glad you enjoyed it! what sort of videos about Japan would you like to see in the future?
@@InakaAdventure Hmmm videos of the distinct differences between the various provinces of Japan, their topography, nature of the people, women, best nightlife, how best to integrate there, legal problems which can be encountered, what to take and not take to the country, links to people who can make the process simpler, lawyers, travel agents You tube influencers like yourself, tour companies, how best to rent, airbnb, hotels which are reasonable, nightlife, concierge services etc.
I just released a video on Tokyo Nightlife here! czcams.com/video/0h97ZAyANC4/video.html
Thanks for all these travel ideas! I‘m visiting Japan in summer and i thought the suica card on my iphone wallet is enough to take the metro in tokyo, osaka and kyoto. Is that right? Or do I need a physical one? Thank you :)
The suica on iPhone is enough for everything
that slap was personal 🤣
We just stayed in Shinjuku and one of the goals was to get my neighbor to 6:30am Aikido practice. He had to leave early because it gets crowded and we walked through Kabukicho at 5:30, when all the people are leaving the bars to try to catch the early train home. 5:30am in Kabukicho is the definition of shitshow.
Can confirm that 5am Tokyo is an absolute mess
@@InakaAdventure I'm usually getting up early for 5am. I'm guessing you stayed up the whole time with Max? :)
The party never ends with Max
When staying in Tokyo you need to experience its crazy NIGHTLIFE! And you can see that in my new video here: czcams.com/video/0h97ZAyANC4/video.html
A night out in Tokyo with Max would be epic.
Its hard to keep up with the guy, i dont know where he gets his energy
Thank you for the great advice, Josh. You and Max are very entertaining and engaging in this guide to Tokyo. Warranted many repeat viewings.
Max is a natural presenter, guide & apparently boxer
I visited japan in March. I love every minute of it. This video is very helpful and on-key.
Glad you had a good trip, hope it wasnt too busy, been a bit of a madhouse over in some parts recently
9:13 Christ that shot of the unagi just makes me want to book a flight back there asap 😭
its really good, its honestly shocking that its so cheap
It’d be funny if Max led you astray and introduced you to #1 Snakehead fish restaurant! 😂😂😂😂
Never even heard of that
6:25 HEY isint that osaka? >:(
You caught me, that's the retro video game space station bar in Osaka, unfortunately I don't really have many shots of concept bars because they usually don't allow video, good eye
@@InakaAdventure yeah i love that place, we gotta find some game bars in tokyo!
❤️ YOOOO! Nice video!!! I’m a Small Struggling Travel Channel and you really inspire me to make better content 😌 Thank you!
It can feel like it takes forever when you start out, I think it took me 2 years for any of my videos to start getting views
@@InakaAdventure oh man 😂
We've ben to humichan as well, when we visited Hiroshima and it was awesome, i was quite positively impressed by the city and Miyajima was absolutely stunning
Humichan is so sweet it really feels like a moms cooking
Where do i book this mad max man?
Place a strong zero under a cardboard box with a stick and a string attached and just wait
Max main character Mura
At least he distracts people from my shoes
And the AI narration of the video
nyoro-n ~
The majestic run makes up for it
great to see another one of your vids - love ur work! did u intermingle some stock footage or old footage in with yours as i thought robot restaurant was a permanent casualty during covid? - haha i just got up to ur run, turnback into cinematic graded walking narration - priceless! iv been one of ur OG subscribers, great to see the count clocking up :)
The robot restaurant lights were all new footage, I think they reopened but dont know for sure
Great video, but I think it makes more sense to call this "Shinjuku Nightlife Guide"
We do spend time in Ikebukero and Minato as well, but most of the drinking is definitely in Shinjuku XD

I am just at the end of my two weeks Japan trip in Tokyo- your videos helped me a lot trying to create memories and contrasts. But I’m still searching for more unique places with not as much tourists. My highlight was the shimanami kaido and Koyasan area. Thank you for help in my planing 🙏
Great to hear it! I love the Shimanami Kaido im thinking about going back there in a week or two
