I ordered this kit, but after I installed, machine doesn’t work right. A small amount of water flows from the head of the coffee machine. Does anyone know where the fault lies?

Do i need to put threadlocker when we place the entire heat exchanger back? Should the copper gasket be reused?

I ordered the kit from Elektro, they are excellent to deal with. only took less than a week to come from Italy to Canada(ups) but was surprised ups charged me broker fee($16) on top of the shipping fee I already paid, this part is a bummer). Had my husband installed it tonight, super easy (according to him), and right the way, coffee tastes so much better(not so over extracted). I highly recommend getting it from Elektro if you are considering this extra modification. While you are there, get the pressure gauge, and a few extra upgrade, might as well if you are paying shipping and broker fee.

Do you have the 0.5-0.6mm flow restriction for the Oscar ll?

Just finished installing...I only get 8.5 bar. Per the pressure gauge I bought along with the OPV kit. Is there an adjustment to bring it up to 9.5?

For those who dont know why you would install an opv kit, it is to lower the bars of pressure the coffee is extracted. Generally rhe factory has the pressure to about 13 bars which is too high. I believe they have it this high possibly to save cost from the manufacturer. The opv lowers the brew prrssure significantly to the standard 9 bars or lower.

When I connect the tube to the pump as shows @7:46 it is too tight and touches the copper line from the boiler. Did you connect the same tube or put on a longer one?

Hi! Just a question, I have an Oscar 2 and it has inside (right side when you open the machine from the top) a black box with a yellow cap that you can turn with + and - symbols. What is this? I've searched in the manual and it says nothing of its function! thanks in advance.

My Musica stopped heating. It powers up but dont heat and dont Light up the resistence (Red light). What could it be?

I just bought this musica in belgium, there is no sirai pressurestat out of the box, it looks like european version of musica did not come with sirai pstat as standard, it uses a campini pstat. Only the professional pack come with sirai. Question : does it matter ?, is the difference only in durability ?, i know the campini pstat is preset at 1.4 bar with no adjustability, but does it matter much to brewing process ?, and how is the breakdown process of campini ?, is it noticable when it broke, or is it gradually, how to notice ?

When did they start using Sirai on the Musica? The rep from the company here in the US told me that with the Musica they always used Sirai pressurestat is that accurate?

I enjoyed the video. Having done the installation using it I have some comments. First you should install the pstat as the tech shows in the video ignoring the comment about not having to extend the wires if you face it to the front. Since the old pstat uses spade connectors you will still have to modify the wires. When the pstat faces the back of the machine it's easier to adjust it's position and also the connecting tube that comes with the installation package installs easier.

The technician who did the installation was emotioned, is much more skillful without anyone watching :-)

Thank you so much for making this outstanding video. I am sick of mechanical pressurestats, as the last one I put in only lasted two years, and was out of calibration after 6 months. I will replace it with a Sirai.........really admired the skill of the tech in the video.

Hi, if the coffee machine is ON for a long time is normal that come out steam before the water Why ? There are two copper pipes that carrying hot water to the group, in these pipes there is always water. The two pipes are connected to the boiler, the boiler heats the water that remaining in the pipes transforming the water into steam. When we operate the pump the water will push steam at the exit of the coffee. Everything is normal, do not worry and drink a good coffee :-)
