If you reinstall those knuckle bolts the other way when you're putting it back together, you won't ever have to remove the caliper to remove those bolts again. No idea why Toyota did it that way, but there is no downside to putting them in the other way.

I stripped all my wood trim down to the veneer and covered it all with real carbon fiber then 6 coats of ppg clear. Wet sanded and buffed. Looks like glass now. Allot of work but worth it.

I have tried some of this vinyl too? but it always starts lifting in the corners and edges after a week or so. In direct sunlight it looses its color very quickly and becomes dull or even grey after a few weeks in sunny weather

You are going to rot out the metal where you are putting these screws,use some caulk. Also, put some caulk down around the leading edge where it sits on the door sil area, so it doesn’t collect moisture and debris.

I like it 😎 i just wish the chrome trim was on the bumper i would have recommended it the chrome makes a difference 🤷🏻‍♂️

Most older cars with sealed beam headlights run the power inside through the light switch. All that undersized wiring and then the light switch contacts kills light output even with sealed beams. An relay harness (even diy if you use the right sized wires) will make sealed beams brighter.

Cant tell that the splitter is a different color. Maybe the splitter's color should match the color on the rims.

Off topic but i was wondering if you could help me. I have a 99 c43 amg just all of a sudden car won’t start. Checked fuses and all ground’s everything is fine only thing we find on a yellow and pink wire on the back of the ignition switch keeps showing a constant power through it might be a bad ground but we literally checked them all

Nice job guy, looks more like a Lamborghini or Ferrari now, you should have not sanded the oringinal wood so it can be change back. Alot of MBZ owners love oringinal cars and are carbon fiber haters.

Tip: the ring that holds the light housing is designed so that you only need to unscrew the top 2, and bend the ring forward.
