How to use a Mic on DJay Pro on iOS with BCD-3000
Algoriddim DJay for iPhone on Behringer BCD-3000 I'm using an app called "Prog. Changer" that can activate the Mic input by sending a program change 1 on channel 1.

How to activate the Microphone on BCD3000 via MIDI Command on MacOS with DJay Pro

Here we use SendMIDI to send a Program Change command to the BCD3000 to activate the microphone on input channel 1-2. A cool benefit to this is also having an option to switch between an analog record input and the mic for DJay Pro integration. Big thanks to the maker of SendMIDI for the command line program to send a simple command to change the input from Phono A to Mic!

Nice! this is exact video i was looking for, i assume club 8000 even more louder. Thank you! Hella funny about rock concert and that someone enjoying their day but want to mess up someone else day. tbh wouldn't be leaving since it's day time and would play even louder, fuck that, i came to this country for freedom and not for this bullshit 😂but thanks again for a good live showing of the speakers
lol!! Yeah we were running at like 1/3 volume... these babies sound great outdoors the array really throws it, also subs on the ground is where they belong, no worries I set this rig up in the woods and raised the volume to 1/2 and had a great set with no interruptions :)
a noise complaint is the biggest compliment a DJ can get!!! Nice, im thinking of getting the Proreck club 8000 system but i want to know if the array "speaker" cabinets have a horn and woofer combo like yours have in this video.
I like these speakers and they sound great, but you do need to put sandbags on the subs because they could tip over in the wind or because of rowdy dancers ;). thanks for the supportive comment!!

Which input are you using to connect your mixer?
Hey there, my mixer has an RCA out so I use a 25ft RCA to 1/4" cable and plug into the 1/4" channel 3/4 inputs so I have stereo output. I plug my wireless mics into the channel 1 & 2 which are mono outputs...

Hi yes this is a software called DJay Pro and the LPs are called "DVS" vinyl specifically for that software. The tone from the record goes in through the RCA cables and is converted into control of the music! Also here we are controlling the mixer on the screen using MIDI. Good luck!

I have not had any luck getting it to work on Android or PC, and those are what I had first so I really tried. Mac and iOS just worked!

I did setup for raspberry pi with display all together attached on the back of BCD3000. It looks like notebook with small display. It runs mixxx as dj opensource SW. BTW Sounds like you running 3D you running printer without "silent" drivers :-)

hi, I was thinking of buying it too for my DVS set up... do you know if the Behringer BCD 3000 could work with a serat timecode vinyl and rekordbox as software?
Hey, so I used the BCD-3000 with Traktor and old school Final Scratch time code vinyl which worked fine so I think the key is just the midi setup for the knobs and if the software likes the time code vinyl. As I showed in another video MacOS sees the Behringer as a sound card and that's the key. Thinking of trying Serato too!

have you tested the bdc3000 with a microphone? I am trying to use it as an audio interface for voice-overs, but the voice is super quiet and I am not quite sure why.
There is no way on DJay Pro for Mac to send a MIDI command to change the A Deck input to pass through audio (say playing an actual vinyl record) or change that audio to Mic. Since the iPhone setup has no DVS audio in, though, a mic may work, I have been meaning to try this... may make another video if I get it going. I had no trouble with an old version of Traktor handling the audio in from vinyl, but I don't believe the mic setup was working... for now I use a separate mixing board since I need to have some "oh sh*t" inputs ready to fade in, no prob patching a mic in there...

I finally managed to send a MIDI message to switch inputs using MIXXX, but I wish there was a way to send it through the OS, in order to use the mic with other softwares. (I just learned about midi messages, so I had to learn from Scratch) Again, thanks for the answer!
@@cabbanisbrasilI was able to use SendMIDI from the MacOS Terminal to change the Channel 1-2 input to Mic. Initial testing with Audacity I did notice that the mic worked very faintly when the input was set to the default Phono input. Its a good point, well i can load a song from youtube on a web browser on the laptop and it plays through the bcd, but you are correct scratching a youtube song is not yet available. I only use it if i cant find the song on tidal... Happy DJing!

Would you recommend these for a DJ set up?
They are smaller than expected but I felt they can move some serious sound. They have sounded great in certain settings but are not Bose quality. I'll be using them more and posting mixes this summer, should upload some more videos :)
@@DJGEOnet Do you think it'd do good in a indoor setting? Like a gymnasium or hall setting?
@@Iamyoppa I would say the resonance from these speakers might not be the best for an echo room, unless you have eq and filters to play with. I'll see how they fare the more I use them but Bose is the best for gyms etc I've heard because of the built in sound management and quality of the speakers....
