Unfortunately, my parents didn't drove Citroen in the 70's, but one of my Mum's friend was driving one: she was a beautiful mature woman with high heels and nice perfume. Because she was a teacher in my school, I often requested to be driven by her ........

This reminds me my aunt in my youth who was driving a GS half-automatic ; she had some pain to start in winter and warm the engine (I think the first models were stubborn) and she was driving very slowly : so at little boy, I appreciated to be driven by her ! It is nice to keep these models in life, because here in France we can't see them on the roads

Fine thank you ! My girl friend drove one in the middle 80's given by her grandmother ; but it was one in the first generation with half-automatic speed. At opposite of the grand-ma, she was letting the old GS outside: starting it in winter was a pain and the half-automatic system needed to warm the engine a while ......I looked forward to drive this car, but quickly her brother who was driving as a mad broke the car on the road. What a pity ! Fortunately I have some memories of my Mum driving an other GS , from my uncle. Greetings
