🐂😍😘 just gorgeous 🥰
The Highland bull. 🏴 Scotland the Brave. I love him. I want him in my backyard.
My hot water taps throughout RV are spurring and pushing out air I supposed I need to check that valve and replace it since I am not sure why else would hot water spur when cold water not
It could be the problem. Have you had a chance to dig into it yet?
Could have done without the music
Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate your input and am adjusting to make future videos more enjoyable.
Beautiful
Not a good idea to use an impact on a porcelain lined tank.
Good point
I am grateful that I can simply watch this amazing birth of life from home.. Why does the mother cattle re-ingest the placenta?
I did some research and found that many animals do this to replenish the nutrients they gave to their babies during pregnancy. It's amazing nature.
@@fauveride I think it is also a way of hiding the birth from predators.
That and it helps to hide the newborn from possible predators. Thanks for the comment, I was so glad to be able to present for the birth and be able to share it with others. 🙂
closer / back / jump / stay / etc
Just beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊 I love just watching them.
Thank you for the video! I'm dealing with low hot water pressure yet have strong cold water pressure. I also found a leak on the twist plastic end on the check valve. Thanks again! Great video?
Thank you for the feedback. When I found this problem, I couldn't find any videos addressing the issue and figured it would help. 🙂
Mine was in same position at top of tank. It was plastic. I thought at first it was plastic because they went cheap. But after I put the replacement one made of brass in, and it works fine so far, I read on a forum that different metals can fuse together. I did use Teflon tape so there is a barrier between the metals. It’s a 10 gallon Atwood which is aluminum. I think the temperature for electrolysis may be a lot higher than the temperature of the water heater, not sure. I don’t want to take new valve out and put new plastic in, as this was a very difficult job due to the location of the back of the tank. I noticed your replacement was brass and I guess the one you took out was original from factory? What are your thoughts?
I do believe it was original. I think the Teflon should act as a good barrier for the corrosion. I was grateful that there was a panel to remove for access to the back of mine. I'm glad to hear the video helped. Happy camping. 🙂
Just a thought, run your equipment ground speed where it does not bounce and jostle. Different ground conditions different speed, smooth is fast. Brake your equipment and all that time one thinks they are saving goes out the window and rains coming. The wear and tear will catch up costing money and time.
Good point! Thank you for the feedback.
Hi! About how long did this take to replace?
20 minutes or so. Most of the time was spent getting to it.
Wheels raking put dirt in the hay. A basket rack don't
Very true. My cows don't seem to mind, but I could see how some animals may.
Thank goodness for your video I watched tons and couldn't figure out my issue but your video helped me put my puzzle together!
Glad to hear. I was happy to figure this out and thought it could help people by sharing it.
She's a darling ❤😘😍
My "T" winterizing diverter went bad. When I took it out and blew into it - it worked fine - but when I connected it to the bottom of the T side and turned on the water it flowed through the other free ports. So blowing into it and turning the knob is not a valid test. :-( I did all of the work of replacing the check valve and only needed to swap the T valve.
Would have been interesting to see how mother would have straightened out that twisted mess she created.
I was thinking the same thing, but it looked uncomfortable. Just made the quick decision to help out. Thank you for the feedback.
I was in the same boat. Hot water for maybe 30sec then nothing. My brother in law had this happen as well, so he said I should pull and check it. Well it ended up shooting out (the inner valve itself) of the brass housing. I ran hot water with great success without the valve the rest of the trip. Bought a new one when we got back home, now I’m putting that in. It is a BITCH to get out. My hot water tank is under a hide a bed. Hard to get to. The impact…. Great idea my friend!
Thank you for the feedback. I was lucky that mine is located in an easy to reach spot, and there is a panel to remove for access. Happy camping!
I was very interested in the video, but unfortunately i couldn't make it through the music.
Thank you for the feedback. I will have to adjust for future videos.
Yea, when you have good info/content you really don't need music at all. People who watch these type of videos are far more interested in what you have to say.
What was with all the licking?
You apparently use Home Depot spray paint for your hives as i do. But I prefer oops exterior paint now
Do you think it holds up better?
what makes you think I came to your channel to listen to crappy music.
My bad. It was not a good choice.
As music goes, it's really nice. Too bad I can't hear a word you're saying though...
My bad. It was not a good choice.
you did so well the first half of the video. then you stated calling it a "hot water heater". why would you want to heat "hot" water?
omg that little calf looks so darn cute!!!!!!!!!!
How hard are they to fold in n out?
It's not too bad as long as you keep the pins greased. It works well for my situation, but it would be nice to have a hydraulic folding one if you move from field to field more.
👌
They look good all brushed
Aww goid job girl
Highlands are the cutest cows and I'm glad they're allowed to roam free. I wish they did the same in those factory farms...animals have feelings and we should give them a good life...but also a peaceful painless death as well...I've heard nitrogen euthanasia might be best.
That’s so cute!
I like the part where she said “moo”
Your herd looks in really good condition, the bull is huge what do you think he weighs?
Good job to that momma.
You've got a beautiful girl, lovely cows and a great little farm. You're living the dream.
I had a friend who had both highland and mini jersey. He would take the mothers and calves four days after they were born and bring them in to milk the mother in the morning. In the afternoon he would milk her again and use the morning milk he took to feed the calf. He said this both forced the mother to observe his care for the calf and also teach the calf his intent which would later translate into greater trust. Anyone could walk into his pastures with him and the beasts would flock to him and in very short order also come to you once they observed you were with him. The friendliest animals ever. And the newer the generations got the more trusting they were. He also strove to be present at every birth so that the calf would see him and know humans are a normal thing. Additionally he leased out his calves for 4H and petting zoos. This all helped his herds become truly human friendly and loving.
Give the damn baby to the mother
So sweet when the cows are using each others horns to get scritches. That's love ain't it?
They are really good at using them.
Stop bothering them...... Let tha calf drink milk peacefully..
Mum not happy with the guy filming and talking☹️☹️ She needs privacy.
nah, she'd definitely let him know if she didn't want him there. She seems pretty socialized. Hell, my cows will almost take you over to their newborns and show them off, lol. But they are really use to humans.
@@crispy6311 may be, I don't know a thing about cows,☹️☹️ I am happy yours trust you, shows you love them and take good care of them♥️♥️
Cute cute cute. No words describe their beauty.
I love highlands, they're like the hippy's of the cattle breed
Give her life. You have space you have a lot of food.
What does this even mean...
@@JohnSmith-rr3jt to let her live in your place forever. Is IT possibile? She so trustful.
Cutie and go away from my child. Cute Mum and her baby.
Such Beautiful Baby
Mum cow is uncomfortable with some human filming.
Very true, but I have had to assist with some births and would have lost the calf and the cow. So I guess they will have to deal with me for a bit until I can be sure that all is well. 🙂
Bought one fucking junk don’t buy broke out of the box
Mine is still working, but I could see the advantage of spending more and getting a nicer one. It was making a clicking noise, but that stopped, and how it holds the frames only extracts one side at a time. So it takes a bit more time than needed. Hind site, it is fine if you are not doing a lot of hives, or if you have time to spare. If you do a lot of honey, you may want to spend some extra and get a nicer extractor.
Just pulled mine and took the guts out until I can get a new one. Easy fix.
For sure.
Do you mean you took out the guts, re-installed the check valve and are using the water heater until you can get a new check valve? I'm wondering if the system will still work with no check valve guts?
Sorry, I changed the frame rate a bit and some other setting on the camera, it seems a bit jumpy when moving and really bright. Will be making adjustments for the next videos.
Motion blur or something I guess, but not sure my self. Though still a great video :3. Such a bunch of lovely cows.
