This is not the mag-stick plus because the mag-stick plus is switchable between 4-way and 8-way by lifting and rotating the stick from the top of the panel and this joystick uses a lever in order to switch between 8 and 4-way.

It's fascinating how art teachers will tell you you can't mix colours to make red or blue whilst having bought how many CYMK printer carts for their printer for how many years?! They will also argue that cyan is blue... well I get you might think it looks light blue but it is as blue as yellow is red

Hi Jared, I'm trying to extract the 5.1 surround sound from an album on DVD, and each song has one photograph that shows on screen when it's playing. The output file is not the full 48-minute album, but is instead a 5 second completely silent video that quickly flashes through each image in rapid succession. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Thank You! I recently bought the "Alien 6-Film Collection" Blu-ray on eBay for cheap - $24. Turns out it is a "counterfeit" item since it did not contain the collector's cards inside the package. I remember looking at the blu-ray disc underside and it was a dark purple-ish color, so safe to say it is burned, not pressed. I should have known -- if it's cheap, it's because it literally is. If you want real pressed media buy from reputable vendors and expect higher prices (though it may not be a guarantee also but at least you should be able to return for refund if you later discover it is burned and not pressed).

If Hugin is free open source why have they sent me 3 emails requesting I pay to get the full software package as opposed to the free lite demo?

I belive stamped disc's have better playback than computer burner disc's. I have been having trouble with burning. After burning the quality is not as good as the original. I've tried burning slow and all that. I have to increase the volume on my stereo to increase the clarity

Thank you. this is the best solution. I used to be able to export compatible files with a decent bitrate of 90Kbit directly from Iphone but now for some reason its automatically down to 35-37. Apple is doing a terrible job supporting its customers. Make sure to change the color space to REC.709

Thank you for this video! Super neat explanation. Been collecting lots of demo CDs for years, always interesting how certain eras of CD-Rs are dying more. Assuming it's poor manufacturing. CD-Rs from the early 2010s I find are dying much more than stuff from the early 00s.

Are bootleg discs burned? is that what make them bootlegs?

Hello! I am wanting to separate the vocal track from a show I own on Blu-ray. However, It says that it is 2.0 and not 5.1. Does this mean it is unlikely that I’ll be able to separate the vocals from the rest of the audio (background music/sounde effects, etc)?

Thanks, very helpful for learning the correct Handbrake settings for extracting the 5.1 audio. I was very happy to find that I could import the m4v file into Audacity to view and manipulate the discrete audio channels so didn't have to go through the hassle of using Adobe Audition.

hey i have videos that are 144p, i don't see a resolution lower than that. I can however go to measurements and adjust the max reolution size to 192 x 144 (what is shown on the source in brackets, 176x144 is the one shown outside of the brackets) is this a good way to rip those videos?

Over the years I've learned to always change framerate to same as source and variable. From what I understand that makes an exact copy of the original framerate.... but also... with interlaced material... decomb/default seems to work well... I also turn detelicine to default (just in case) and on the video tab under encode speed I change it to slow... I don't like fast... You could do medium.... if I don't do all of these things, I will get jerky or jutter sometimes during panning up/down, side to side, etc...but with these settings it's butter smooth (at least with 480p DVD interlaced sources)
