I really enjoyed this.

She had no parents, nor any real life.

The spoken audio sometimes gets very inaudible and hard to follow what they are saying, especially at the campfire

I've commented before, but after my fifth view, I have to applaud this "Short (actually, way too Short)" film. Everything was spot on. From the plot, storytelling /writing, the excellent choice of location/scenery, the perfect inclusion and intensity of the music, the engaging and realistic acting (which goes high on the ranks with similar shorts in this genre), just ultra-captivating and an overall wonderful film! I'm a "post-apocalyptic short film junkie," (if that's a thing) and have viewed hundreds of this style of film, but I have to say, "SURREAL" IS Definitely in my top five! Absolutely enjoyed it! I would pay Theater prices for a full-length feature expanding on this film, minus the death of the lead actor, &finding out more about "MIA?" Thanks for such an entertaining event. I hope you have shown this to the Hollywood execs. There's so much potential here! Thanks for the great film! Best, Ej Burlington, Vt

It was slow. And there seemed no reason for wandering around the woods. I assumed he was a criminal and she a forest spirit of some kind. That she stopped him threatening the 2nd man seems at odds with the survival is the only focus. And again when she tried to stop the 2nd man killing the 1st And even with the fact he didn't kill or hurt her when she followed him. But reasonably well acted, especially by the first man

The fight scenes are slow and pathetic... anyone with a grandma’s reaction time could have won the fight on either side! Just read the poster’s comment, I guess it’s forgivable, but the fight scenes should have been a little better. I made a two minute film in 9th grade, in which I pretended to hit a kid with a bat, and it looked VERY, surprisingly realistic! It took ONE shot, first attempt, and it looked like I broke his leg, but no one was hit at all... I don’t know how to make films, but camera angles and timing are obviously key... the fight scenes were garbage, from the point of view of a 14-year-old me (yes, I was 14 in 9th grade) with a camcorder from 1998 and two friends. Mine was better. “I’m just sayin’”

Very slow moving but good photography and acting I'd say. Obviously with a tiny budget, only four actors and little time an ambitious attempt would fail. So this worked, albeit within its very tight constraints. Where was it shot ? Somewhere in a northern silver birch forest anyway. How about Canada as a guess ? Greetings from Suffolk England !
