Jeep dead gauges fix (connector soldering fix)
Jeep Wrangler TJ and Cherokee XJ 90s models with cold solder issues causing intermittent instrument cluster function or dead gauges.
Here a cluster from a 1997 TJ with a bad solder on the ground pin causing the whole cluster to die randomly, especially when putting on the lights.

Cold start and snow driving Saab 96 V4
zhlédnutí 99KPřed 14 lety
A december afternoon in northern Sweden with the first lot of snow for the winter.
the music!
I had two 2 cycle Saab's Such a joy to power around in. Sure wish I could snap my fingers and have one again, Heck, I would even take a V-4
Super!
I had a propane V4 because I worked at a factory in Bowling Green, Ohio that made street and factory floor sweepers and used this motor. Lots of parts on stock and whole engines.
Mine tops out at 45KPH, at 300ft above sea level 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Well anything other than fluffy snow on a hard surface will do this to mine to 😜
We're these front wheel drive?
This a long track or short?
Long track with the ”flip” bogie used for a few years in the 80s
Does it actually get warm in the cabin? Or not
Cabin is warm, even in minus 20 degrees. However heating system is based on 1940s design which makes it bit old and weak compared to 1970s Saab 900 or Volvo 240.
Have much minus Celsiusa?
Underbar film.
i wish i still had my panther
Ford v4
I miss SAAB
Should do a Trapper video too
What country is that? Sweden?
Yes it is, northern east coast 👍
@@wimgid Okay. Also I like your SAAB 96.
Memories!!
Dang! I remember my grandparents SAAB 961970 exact same car! Thanks for posting!
sure beats walking
I grew up in these cars. They are fantastic in the snow, and I love them. I wish I could own one, but they're just too rare. But I have the next best thing, I think: an older Subaru Outback. It's cool, it's quirky, and it's great in the snow.
The Panthers were trail cutters that's for sure.
I love it, best car ever for snow and all around transportation
The Saab was like 'Snow? What Snow?'
I wanted to thank you for posting this video. I live in Spain -although have lived in the North of the US, with very similar climate- and still own my first Saab (of a sequence of 5), a 1991 900 -Turbo, purchased new, which we recently have rebuilt from scratch. Saabs are incredible cars. I felt like a personal loss the disappearance of the brand and just hope that it may revive in the end. I love also the 96 and the 99.
Irene DP I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed the video. I also Love the 900 turbo.
you don't have much snow lol I am getting a 76 artic cat panther 440 and a 80 artic cat trail cat 340 both for 150$ and the both run I have to put a primary clutch on the 340 and clean the carb raters on both but other than that they will be ready for the winter
This brings back memories of my childhood.... My grandmother owned a 96 v4 when I was about 3-5 years old... After the 96 she got a 99...
i learned to drive in a 96 V4, thank you, sentimental :-)
What wonderful music!
Mine goes 140
Funny
@McFishwood : The V4 engine came from Ford Germany, which makes you the ignorant
You forgot to clean the rear window ...
Wonderful CAR !!!!
nice car uszlachetniacze - testy i opinie
Pure. I've had two 99s, four 900s (two currently), a 9-5 (a GM mess of a car and had GM buy it back).... I would give my eye teeth for this 96. It is in a word, beautiful.
These early SAABs look like quite the sturdy vehicle... however a good friend had an 87 SAAB 900 that was nothing but an unreliable POS in constant need of repairs... I owned Volvo 140's and 240's from the late 80's until the mid 2000's and i have nothing but good things to say about them.
Bravo does 80 km
Nah
Great engine. I remember a race car a friend of mine had . Saab v4 in it . he drove it to the race kicked ass and drove it home . dependable and fun to work on.
120km/h !?!?!?! in your dreams maybe :D
120 km
My frinds bravo dose 120
He probably got it moded
Modded
my bravo goes 70 mph
How
Saab ER vinterbilen :)
Jajjemän! :)
rullar hon fortfarande ?
It is actually a German engineered Ford engine, the Ford Tanus V4
Hi there i got two questions, one is that is the tire size for the saab 96 and is it possible to get brake master cylenders for these cars?
Tyre size 155 x 15 I used 165 x 15 Avon Mud + Snow tyres in my 1972 V4 the 1st of very many SAAB's I've owned. I'd 11 older 96's at one time at home and neighbours drives! Fond menories very sad that GM decimated SAAB.
That thing is awesome!
saab was swedish! your an ignorant. shame on you
nice views!
So many memories here because I commuted to college through Chicago winters in a faithful and sturdy, dark blue SAAB two-stroke 96, model year 1965.
What a great and evocative video! Poetry really . . .
