Hey, Paul in southern,, Iowa. I have gone thru about 8 of these over just a few years on a 1997 GSX 787. I have a theory that since I can't get that bottom screw extremely tight, then water and oil water is seaping into the starter and hurting it. So, on the bottom screw are you connecting a nut on the other side to tighten it? If so how in the hell do you have the agility to do that?

Love this stuff. It works for me, especially in chainsaws, blowers and small tools with diaphram fuel pump carbs.

Can you explain to me how you got the gauge out you skip that whole step my problem is my gauges won't turn on everything else works the beep sidhu Works amazing turns on no problem but my gauges won't turn on so I want to get to them and make sure the wiring is connected properly but how did you get in there thank you please help

I have a 2000 ....today on the lake and my oil line going to the pump broke and leaked all my oil in the ski ..and it cut off soon after running out of oil .hopefully didn't murder it to bad

I have a Nissan 4 stroke it runs great but at low idle the oil light and the buzzer will go off does it mean that have a bad oil pressure sensor or is there something else

I have a Nissan 30 horse at low idle the buzzer and the oil light comes on could it be my oil

OSD Marine sells a kit for 16 bucks to redo this too

krylon satin iris paint is a pretty good match to repaint that front weathered plastic just FYI, otherwise using a propane torch to melt it from a distance works pretty good too

Also paint can opener will be faster/easier than a flatbalde screwdriver.

You can do away with all the DESS crap with an aftermarket MPEM, as they are not lanyard specific and are relatively affordable at between $90-$120

Wow! Thats a tremendous difference. Takes off like a jet ski now.. Nice man! Do you find yourself adjusting the trim tabs that much? Bc they sell SS Trim Tabs with threaded rods so that you can shorthen or lenghthen them to adjust the angle. Only bad part is that theyre not exactly too adjustable on the water.. If I could put them on and just hop in the water and get it adjusted to a happy-medium and just set it and forget it.. What you think? Btw awesome vids thanks!
