I do a great deal of thinking about Phil today, in the afterlife, so to speak. I do believe he's out there. And I do believe the departed can recieve your feelings if you're putting them out there. And I just try and transmit how much his music and his lyrics mean to me. I hate that he died thinking he didn't make that much of an impact, that he felt defeated after Lizzy split up. It all means so much and he is a hero today to so many people.

i really wonder how things wouldve played out if Phil was still here with us. I know he wouldve gotten Thin Lizzy back together and reunited by at least '87 or '88 (either with the Thunder and Lightning lineup or with the classic lineup). and by the 90's they wouldve been a tour de force probably selling out arenas in the states and Metallica covering any of their music wouldve set them up for life. by now i feel like Phil would at least be hosting bass lessons on youtube amd sharing awesome poetry with us. Rest in Power champ

It's rare to hear musicians in this context speak so humbly ; even when they are 'being humble' I can still sense the ego simmering in the background, I don't detect this from Scott here at all. Just giving thanks for the opportunities his late friend afforded him. He seems like a nice man.

Scott lies, he rarely if ever called or saw Philomena...I met here in 2016 at her house the day after the 30th Vibe for Philo and she told me so...she was very upset about it...in fact BSR played a few months before I met her in Ireland and said Scott did not even pick up the phone to say hello much less go visit her

Bob Siebenberg, drummer of Supertramp - "We both grew up in Glendale, California and played in separate bands, until we met in 1967. He lived on the rich kids' side of town and I lived on the other side of town. So until I met him I automatically didn't like him. Sooner or later all bands break up and new bands form, and Scott came to audition to play bass. I wasn't too keen on having him in the band, but when he was finished auditioning he was clearly the hands down winner. We decided to put the past behind us, and he asked if I could buy him some cigarettes. We have been friends ever since."
