I really enjoyed the video, seeing games that are a struggle can be enlightening in their own way. I am looking to start with ACW probably in 28mm and will never go that big more skirmishes than the big battles do you think these rules would work for that? thanks for any thoughts

All my references on Russian Jagers is that they were dress in Dark Green, both pants with a red strip, and Tunic, But your figures a nice, just a little lighter on the green, but can claim that they are old uniforms...!!

You have been busy. Just tested positive for covid myself, so once I have got over the worst I may well be able to get on with some painting. Some lovely stuff there Dom, and agree with you about the yard test, if they look good from that distance that is good enough, which most of mine are as well. 👍

Hope your feeling better,good update a lot of good painting there.I liked your yankees,i finally got round to getting some perry's acw cavalry,now need to find time to do them.I got them through warlord as i wanted the glory book with the sniper figure as well,dont mean to sound ungrateful but for some reason they gave me a free sprue of epic waterloo british infantry?.

I mix my Yanks up with the blue regiment to regiment. I think they’re spot on. 👍

Excellent armies and terrain. The use of all the light infantry really adds to the game dynamics. Another top game mate.

It is a superb set. I hope down the line Warlord produce German Tribes and maybe some Imperial Romans to add to this scale and further extend it

The shields look really good. With epics you have to try not to invest too much work that no one will see later. Found the ACW to be the easiest so far as they had less detail. Good painting!

A good honest apprach to painting. Looks good with that mass effect and definetly shows that art of the possible for standard wargamer.

Always loved the french command squad guys with halberds and dual pistols.

Good to see you on catchup this week. Seeing all sorts of sports on French TV, it seems to have been completely cocked up in the UK.

Really nice work. I've painted 6 bases of these, and decided against doing the shade step after early trials - the speed paints I'm using are doing a good enough job on these tiny troops and it's saving me a couple of minutes - that'll add up to a day or two by the time I've finished the whole Hannibal box!

You should come Holiday next July in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to attend HISTORICON. My good friends and gaming group are all retired military, so we are all over the world (I am in South Korea) or the US, so it is a good time to spend 4 or 5 days gaming and getting in mischief.
