    hi. i have a question; for example for a sealine in 60 m depth what is the internal pressure when sealine is empty?

      We have to design any component for the worst case situation for internal pressure. So check what maximum pressure can be there. Based on that the internal pressure design needs to be done. And the pressure exerted as static head should be considered as the external pressure.

      yes but not necessarily it depends on the purpose its used.sometime the residence time of fluid may not be sufficient enough so we prefer baffles which increases the contact/residence time hence more time for heat transfer to happen and thus the efficiency increases

    sir plz anser why we use asme b16.10 even we have asme b 16.34? bcz of same temp and presure we can use valves given in asme b 16.34 so why we use or need asme b 16.10
