I just received my Frames. Unfortunately, I am not a developer. I was expecting there would be at least some basic instructions on how to use it. It has a very short setup instruction, and I downloaded the NOA Brilliant App. It asks me to login using Google or Discord. I tried both, and nothing seemed to happen. Can anyone walk me through a setup process where I could at least see Google apps through the Frames? I also found there is NO help information on the Brilliant Frames site or any of their material.

Thank you for uploading more Frame-Videos! But tbh, we all know what AI can do. I can start ChatGPT on my phone and do the exact same thing. Tapping frame to start, and showing it has a camera, is not that interesting. I would love to see whats visible on the screen! Show the answer to a question on the build-in screen. Show some live translations etc. I ordered a pair, believing this was a finished product. It SHOULD be finished, since you seem to start shipping them atm. Show some more to convince me it is worth the wait, money and trust pls! I want this to be good 😉

Will there ever be support to record video? I know the bluetooth isnt fast enough to record video but could it be saved locally then slowly transferred to the phone later?

Think about a more wider user case. Make it have live caption so people with hearing issues can benefit.

Is there a setting for how verbose the AI is? I would much prefer succinct and straightforward answers. As it is in this video, it sounds like the presenter from a kids TV show... Also, separately, I would love to see some videos demoing creating basic apps that make use of the screen in Frame. I'm much more keen to use that functionality over the AI.

So I've already preordered one of these. The voice now sounds different. What is happening in this setup? Is this user utilizing some other API setup since this is open source and is tinkerable? If so, this is exciting for us devs.

I have family who live in Poland but I never understand when they are speaking, i can speak a bit of polish but need to understand what they are saying so i can respond. Can I use the glasses to understand a foreign language which is being spoke in front of my eyes?

So I'm a little confused, the frames just appear to be the camera here, but the voice is coming from the phone? is this info also being translated to user somehow via the screen?

I love the POTENTIAL utility of a system like this, but please focus on showing off, and innovating on, the UI that the user sees and work on things that would be possible to run locally from a phone or pocket computer not simply dependent on far away “a loud” (which just means someone else’s computer) servers. I have been passionate about augmented reality since I was 12 years old, this is not meant as an insult, but a plea for a focus on devices that are not all about cloud and far away AI.
