I've got one of these and we love it. Cooks rice in about the same time as our full sized home rice cooker on AC power. One thing I dislike is the 12v socket plug can get quite hot. I am thinking about cutting off the end and attaching an anderson powerpole connector instead to lower the wasted heat through the poor cigarette socket connection.

I wouldn't spray water into the tire. Once you mount it to the wheel it will stay trapped there and corrode the wheel and spoke ends. I would just use a sponge to wet the tire bead. ~

I had a VStrom. I changed the front tire / tube like a pro, the rear tire crushed my soul :-) Took it to the bike shop with much humility.

I have cooked lentils vegetables soup and pasta in mine. Two tricks. I add already heated water when possible to shorten cooking time. Also I rarely need a full cook cycle for non rice meals. I have learned the times needed for my favorite meals. Happy trails and meals everyone!

An old timer taught me to hook the tie-downs together with a bungee cord (mid strap), then when you hit a bump or slam on your brakes the bungee absorbs the slack not the tie-down strap. After I lost one off my trailer have been doing this for 30 years.

According to the Amazon seller, this is sold by a Japanese company but the item is manufactured in China

Adding extra soapy solution on the inside of the tire and soapy lubricate on the inner tube also helps to prevents kinks in the tube, using 3 MSR long handle spoon tire levers works best with a tire changing stand.

Thanks! Had same problem on my 2014 Forester. I found that I didn't need to take out the switch, just push in the brake and then push the switch button a couple times.

The anti rattle bracket is mounted backwards! Replace the junk chinese 4.8 grade nuts and bolts with 8.8 grade hardware (taiwan). 2 straps to the handlebars, 2 turnbuckles to the foot pegs. works great for me. I also have a wr250r.

Have u ever tried to put oily food inside the rice cooker ? Wondering how you clean up inside since you can’t take out the black bowl
