2:10. I should HAVE.
What is better? Being sustainable or ethical brand ? Sell less or help other women to have a jobs?
love
This was so encouraging and inspiring. Thank you for being so transparent ❤
I’m internally screaming because !!!yes!!!! .. I FEEL YOU. I’m studying textile design. I’ve been consistently stuck in the cycle of loving textiles/fashion but hating the industry, feeling discouraged to focus on design and creation alone while being so passionate about change. I’ve been running through different ideas similar to yours. Your plan is awesome. I’d love to be involved, though I’m in NC!
The camera quality upgrade was crazyyy
It’s so nice to see a young designer, wanting to be sustainable and ethical. I hope you are using all natural fibers. It’s hard to find clothes that aren’t made out of polyester. Nowadays I wish people would switch back to natural fibers. All of this is adding to the plastic problem in our water systems.
Where do you get your shipping supplies?
I'm so old I could be your mother but it's sooo refreshing and interesting for me to observe young person in a proccess of figure it out. It's probably struggle for you, from my - older person perspective it's beautiful. Thank you for this opportunity! "Stay hungry".
keep going
this is so relatable
Very helpful! Appreciation!! 🎉❤
loved watching your videos without sugar coats, as a local fashiondesigner is not that easy, like this past months, the most client was alterations, with their clothings and that makes also money not that big amount but still worth it. 🎉🎉
It looks so peaceful where you live. Wish you success on your journey
I always wondered how seams were so neat, now I know, thank you!
Full video?
Nice video, thank you.
If you plan to make more scrunchies, you may wish to look up the burrito method for making them.
where can I find the pattern? 🥰the link doesn't seem to be available
Hii for some reason my website is down but here it is on Etsy! invaed.etsy.com/listing/1643973811
yesss!!! love your visions/ style
You're so cool! So happy I met you!
Hey Veronica, please keep making these kinds of videos. I relate to your journey so much... I'm a fashion designer in africa and ive been on this limbo of starting my brand for the past 4 years just trying out different things from home and i learn alot from you. Truly appreciate your journey.
Hi Sharon thank you for watching! It’s crazy that we’re all going through similar experiences all around the world, my goal is to get back to posting more, I’ve been moving the last month and I’m trying to finish up packing so I can get back to it!
Hey. Where in Africa are you? I am in Namibia, and argh its honestly not the easiest
@chantebock, Im in kenya (nairobi)
I’m reading about the life of paul of thebes by jerome and i was trying to get a visual of his tunic woven from palm leaves like a wicker basket. Very impressive talent you have
Great work! Beautiful pattern 🎉 Thank you for being great at what you do ❤
😮💨
do the patterns already have seam allowance included?
Yes, they have 1cm or 3/4 inch SA
If you make a quality piece, it will last. That reduces overconsumption. That should be the main goal of sustainable fashion. I pay for quality clothes that will last a lifetime.
Beautiful
YESSSSS
yeah, totally agree the gold and red dress is soo cool and looked great on the model!
It’s my favorite ever!!

🦘🦘🦘🇦🇺🙋🏻♀️Hi Veronica such a great transparent inspirational and well thought out video!! I felt like I was listening to my own inner voice! Bravo 🤩I applaud your honesty and bravery… I am a 60 year old Australian, living in Melbourne. I feel like you are me in my teens and early 20’s, passionate about clothing, and designing clothing & admiring people (buckle up for the list) the likes of JP Gaultier, Claude Montana, Thierry Mugler, Romeo Gigli, Kenzo, Yamamoto, Lee Macqueen, Vivienne Westwood, Martin Margiela, the incredible Japanese rei kawakubo, miyake, Chitose Abe, the amazing Antwerp 6… madeleine Vionnet & just sooo many incredible innovators over the decades… who have been brave & determined enough to dedicate their lives to the art of clothes! I have been making my own clothes since I was 8 years old and I love the creative process but after working in the fashion industry for small very badly paid Australian brands I came to the conclusion that it’s a cut throat & exploitative industry… very disillusioning!! I find myself even more disillusioned and really downright disgusted at the completely immoral and unethical way the industry has developed since the 80’s… to the point of major toxicity for the overall health of our beautiful planet and for each living being living on it! I have come to hate the word fashion and all the real horrors it represents and like you have struggled my whole life with the strong urge to create and how to earn a viable living! These days it’s more about how to combat the toxicity of it all!! I was 20 when I opened a shop, sewing literally day and night to stock it but of course it became a dressmaking/ made to order business which barely made enough for the rent let alone any profit… it was the mid 80’s when I threw in the towel and just made clothes for myself & friends as presents, which removed all the angst! In the 90’s I participated in fundraising craft for my children’s schools & became an upcycler of charity shop items and watched with dismay 😧 the rise and rise of fast fashion and of the greedy luxury sector both of which created the Trojan horse of wanton consumerism & destruction… we are now trying to contend with! I’m now a complete upcycler and refuse to buy anything new…. Truth be known I have enough clothes & fabrics in my large attic wardrobe to wear a different outfit every day until the day I die! There is enough plastic (fashion) in circulation to poison the world for generations to come. Honestly the charity shops are heaving under the pressure of endless mixed fibre unnatural textiles and plastics that cannot be recycled at all… they will undoubtedly end up in the food chain at some point…😵🤯😱So I applaud you, you are really doing your bit with the channel and being gutsy enough to share your journey… You have my support and admiration for being so conscientious & determined to find your true path through this highly toxic maze. As we Aussies (of a certain generation) say 😍😜bloody great effort!! ❤💕💕💕🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
These are fireeee

You know I'm just looking for this video because I'm thinking about starting a clothing brand and every I found a lot of videos who just mentioning only good sides of this business but the thing is you are talked about what I have insecurities. But I also get inspiration from you. Thank you dear
wooowww , please teach it 😍
amazing 😍 please what do u use instead of scissors? cutting is hard for me
hell yeah! these are awesome
Thank you🫶🏻
I have been following you for a while, and I came across your recent video, even though it was posted 3 weeks ago. I agree w/ you completely, and I think once you want to do something as a child and immerse yourself completely, you can either fly off (if it's meant to be) or stop … I have picked up multiple habits over the past 10 years and taught myself and got better and better - the moment someone says "you can make money from this… " I just … stop. We live in a society that teaches us that it's only worthwhile if you make money from it… I have been considering taking my clothing alterations and, going to flea markets, and getting a vendor's table. That's most of my plan; people have been like, "get Etsy." or whatever else, and I am like ", Ew." Like, I like this, I wanna do this more and more, and I don't just a pile in the corner of my office space, so I think a vendor table and selling it for cheap for those that need it is my calling. I focus on plus-size, non-binary clothing making and alterations. All this to say that if you are really into community and doing good, maybe your clothing can focus on plus size and size inclusivity - it'll really take off - not just financially b/c that's not the point, but it really puts impact on the community to an under-represented population that needs our positive love and vibes. Good luck w/ everything. / mcjazzie
I just foud you and I love your designs, keep going at it, the more people see you, I know you will make it big
