Artists such as Rembrandt, Velazquez, Vermeer, Monet, Repin - what methods did they use in their works? It is unlikely that Monet set the canvas according to the size of nature, but he certainly did not think much about the 3d construction. And even Repin used impressionist methods in his works. The sight-size method is not perfect; it bills itself as impressionistic, but that has little connection. The constructive method, like sight-size, is one of the many ways of training for an artist. In my opinion, you need to use everything in combination, but also not forget that this is just training and exercise, and everything is not limited to this, that it is not necessary to work like this in a non-educational process.

Benefits to understanding both but Constructive for the win in my books. I don't believe one can fully experience the bliss of drawing until they can create from imagination directly onto paper. The way in which we combine methods can produce a style. Thank you for the video.
