right attitude...good play

I had to head back to Pangbouche to drop off my boyfriend and then headed up solo with our guide to climb Kalapathar since he felt better. Boyfriend got sick in Loboche and we had to get him down. Then he had to be evacuated on a helicopter! I went with him so I missed hiking down. But the ride from Pangboche was amazing. Adventure!!!!

I was there in 2011. Right around the same time. Monsoon was coming and a bunch of the trek was in clouds. But it cleared in time to climb Kalapathar and get a great view of Everest. I remember the yaks, porters, the clink of Rock cutting!! And after a long time in the clouds, they cleared and Bam! There were mountains that made the Rockies look like foothills. Amazing place. Hope to go back one day. Great Video. Thank you!!

yea that secion you got to.. is super tough.. and there are tougher sections closer to the last pitch.. the notch blovck before the final pitch is totally mesed... id say bring a long sling. or a hand line for that notch ..

In theory, you can walk the whole thing in 80 hours. But that's plus stops and sleep.

What pampered privileged people we are. They act like it’s a life time achievement climbing to these towns when, for the indigenous people, it’s the walk to school.
