no modification but it is reeaally tight - only about 2mm clearance each side

@neo3exe great! I picked up the 244 loved that tire on my s22 going to install it on the lynx was thinking I might have had to shave the side nobs of a bit

yup, side clearances are a bit tight on mine, 1-2mm

had a look at my strava speeds, apparently this ride averages around 12mph and then if there's an incoming jumps, might speed up to 20mph or so

@@RonnieRides yeah I did that as well... there isn't much surface at the edge of the rim to stick to :s

Cheers! I'm 73kg and got the 70lbs Lynx just so that I could set it to a fairly soft settings and still doesn't bottom out - no preload!

@@neo3exe exactly my thinking. dirt bikes really give you a perspective on how to set up suspension. that's my background. and the same mindset most riders have, so you can grow into the suspension the faster you get.

fingers crossed not yet, but have come close in a skatepark bowls. Saw mr wrongway removed his at the dirtmasters event so I'll remove mine soon enough

@@neo3exe it's one of the things with the Lynx that is preventing me from getting one. I hope they make an update with a better kickstand that is not in the way.

Been riding trails for almost 2 years, so far came across lizards, wallabies and turkeys, so nothing dangerous yet :) Actually saw more snakes doing group rides around the city!

You do occasionally get a spider in its Web to the face. It probably surprises them as much as it surprises you though.

We see and keep distance from turtles snakes and sometimes alligators. It’s the biting yellow flies that I watch out for. It’s not the bite, it’s the swelling and itching afterwards that’s bothersome

cheers! yeah a few of us are trying out all the tracks. These wheels are 20", apart from the rock beds they're good enough to send it!

All I had to do for the radio side is setup a switch for aux1 or 2 that triggers the reverse motors. You have to disarm first though, and use betaflight 3.2

Did you have to setup bi-directional & reverse bi-directional in BLHeli? And then setup 3D Mode in BF 3.2? I've got the Taranis switches working but w/ 3D Mode going it goes nuts. Thanks in advance.

OK I think I figured it out but for some reason when the quad is upside down it won't spin the motors. Only when it's right side but it'll spin both ways on my Aux3 switch. Thoughts?

Brad Garland nah man, don't even need to setup 3d mode. You have to setup betaflight to use dshot instead oneshot or multishot. And update the blheli_s firmware in the ESC to 1.67 (or whatever is latest). That way betaflight can tell the esc to reverse the motors when you flip that switch. And once again no its not 3D mode! I had my quad shot up to the sky when trying to do this with 3d :)
