I first heard him in 1978 from the for you album which was his first LP, my sister had the 8 Track click click LOL once i heard it I was transformed and was part of his sea of fans I too took a lot of grife from my classmates and friends but I felt his soul in his music there will never be another him When I was told by nephew that Prince had passed time stopped for me I could not belive it I mourned him many months until I came to terms that he was only here for a little while are we all are, his music will be timeless to those of us who loved his music and followed him he taught me that you could be different than all of those around us for him I will for ever thank may he rest in the Kingdom of God hopefully I will see him one day SELAHA SELAHA AMEN

I love this Music. But to me it's too sad and mysterious sounding to be a love song. Not criticizing Prince or his Music in any way, but it makes me sad. Partly because He isn't here. And it sounds like something U would play while you con tinplate you life to. Like a deep Jazz tune can do. Same affect.
