This was some god-tier overthinking, but definitely worth it. There are some obvious games that have an interesting historical background, but I wouldn't have thought Quacks was one of them. 10/10 would watch again

Stellar presentation, and a large departure from the mirth and merriment of your review format. I like the deep dive, the incredible investigation that went into this. Watched it all the way through. And yeah, it sucks but it does turn out that airplane rides cost money. :)

I just found the game at GenCon, tried it and fell in love with it. The best part, which is what prompted me to buy it, was that they had an insane discount for buying the whole set of games which also included the deluxe version of the OG game! Definitely a great find

The rules are it WORST PART we fight over these Very Vauge rules all the time ..if that is the case that make this game trash. Not fun fighting all the time with friends over short rules ..most the time we just all quit .. example, your planning cards, give you the option of placing troops and placing things. But for some reason, placing and deploy is two different definitions for rules but the cards its different.. Then it not ..WTF They need to be one set of rules for everything ON THIS gunnery ...different... Its cause many fights .. . How you deploy troops and how you deploy leaders .. Chopoers .. Miners Not one card I can find just says deploy chopper ..mining ..troops or a leader ...its always place ... Shitty rules..

Definitely a weird little game, but I found it grew on me over time as I figured out the different character strengths!

I have played it twice and both times were challenging for different reasons. I am determined to beat the Boss and will definitely play it again!

Sounds like s game that requires commitment, time, and a little sacrifice.

The theme is what grabbed me here, thanks for getting into the gnitty gritty of this game. I've heard that the game time is pretty abrasive, and that's what has kept me away from this. Been playing a lot of imperium on my iPad and i love it and now want a physical version. Maybe I’ll buy uprising instead of the original. At one point it would be cool two own both since thematically it’s like owning both Dune movie BluRays.

What do the different cards mean? The tiller, the mermaid, cannon, etc How do you know if you won the trick? What are the three cards in front of the players next to the board? It looks like you had a fun time playing 😊
