I had never heard of Fenech guitars before yesterday when I went into a guitar store. I was planning of getting an acoustic from a different maker, but I wasn’t vibing with them. Then the bloke at the store said “try this, it’s from a maker on the Gold Coast” and 10mins later I walked out the door with it. Awesome quality, sound, playability and feel. I love the tactile feel of the wood grain.

I bought the d78 new guinea rosewood 2 years ago. Its a absolute pleasure to play and sound so good. I went into Nerang guitar centre to buy a Taylor and walked out with Fenech. After 2 years, no regret. Who ever made my guitar, thanks.

What woods compare to mahogany and what is more like Brazilian rosewood?

Thanks for the info in these great woods. Would love to have some on the Dutch market, but not for sale here. And about impossible woods to bend, try real Snakewood from Surinam. (Piratinera Guianensis Brosimum) I once used it for a binding, it bends as glas . . . . . not. But soooo beautiful.

low tones out of control. Guitar looks great but it costs lot of money. One can buy great Tylor, Martin or Lowden for $7,000. Is Fenech worth it?
