Great cinematography*really like sound*, the sounding like a critic... Landscape location"""1889 Colorado... I'm not from the states I'm an Australian... And we have a great short story... Homespun non-government funded film industry... You could easily swear this rainforest... Was around the back of Cairns Queensland or other parts of east coast Australia....,... Yeah like storyline again I'm not trying to critique it.... I think there's been enough comments there...🤬thank u.nick.

Are you taking this filming any further?. I've been watching a lot of shorts, this one has some promise, So 2 out of the last 50 maybe, that has something to it.

Visually beautiful. Good action filming. Good bullet strike special effects. Those are the hard parts and they were done well. But the peacock … was that some kind of an inside joke? And , that sure looked like a blue plastic bucket in the early shed scenes. These things are important to the credibility of the production , or lack thereof.

I’ve only just discovered this plethora of Western Short movies on CZcams, grateful and deserved applause to all concerned in making them…. ( just a tiny thing that stood out in this particular one ) I’m not criticising by the way ( see my first statement ) But just after the caption 1872 in the barn scene there was a pretty modern bike wheel…. ( more modern than 1872, I mean )

Enjoyable , worth watching. The opening scene, descending, was nicely done. The weathered trestle , or bridge, in 1889 in Colorado? Looked more like Appalachia. Curious about that.

Nice chase scene, shooting realism and bullet impacts. 2-cent criticisms: 1) Marshal WITHOUT a rifle - ? 2) Guys looked too 20th century clean cut 3) "Lawful" with an injured leg hopping around like a bunny rabbit 4) Not sure why "Lawful" didn't just shoot him - ? 5) Marshal's last play would be to smoothly palm the hat pistol and shoot through the hat

Very well done minus the minor details. But if Neflix can put out a big budget film with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson about hunting down Bonnie and Clyde in 1934 and they are collecting evidence using a plastic 5 gallon spackle bucket , not invented until the late 1960 then what the heck.

Very entertaining and well filmed. Although I can't say that I had too much sympathy for the marshal at end.

Absolutely great short film. Great soundtrack and I was completely invested in the two characters, especially the prospector of course. And some fabulous scenic shots as well. Definitely one of the best shorts I've seen.

I liked it better the first time when it starred Johnny Depp in "Dead Man"

Fools Gold Canyon. I started laughing when I saw the rocks were fools gold and not actual gold nuggets like the Coen Brothers used in their Jack London story.
