Have you worked with a trainer to help you resolve an issue with you limp-wristing the gun when firing. My girlfriend has the same problem which causes lots of malfunctions on many of the handguns I own that shoot perfectly for me.

I think you have the perfect setup. I love cyelee red dots, they are hard to beat.

Cool red-dot, like that you don't have to take optic off to change batteries, and it being water proof is nice.

Don't run CCI brass. There is actually a warning on the box that says do not run in ported and compensated guns. I just got my new stronger recoil spring from Canik. This is their solution for FTRTB. They also send a card stating the gun requires a 200 round break in period. They also tell you to stop, don't pull the trigger if gun is out of battery. Lightly hit the slide to return to battery and continue shooting. When I'm shooting I can't see it is out of battery so that instruction is useless.

Easiest way to get some night capability is to use goow in tte dark fluorescent nail polish. Fill in the white dots after cleaning them with alcohol. Do two small dots on the rear and a brighter front sight. Good weapon over all.

I had the same issues with mine. But it turns out that i was limp wristing it. I worked on my grip and it has run flawlessly with new republic 115 grain ever since. I got the new spring from canik but i have not used it yet cause it runs perfect now.

Use federal Champion 115 grain brass works perfect in mine the HST 124 grain hollow points work great in my TTI combat not one problem the cerakote job is supposed to have shadowing that's the way it comes that's what makes it beautiful

What's occurring is failure to return to battery. Sometimes so slight, that you can barely tell the slide is not in full battery. I field-stripped mine. I noticed the polymer was slightly too high at the rear of the frame, near/above the beavertail area. I used a fine nail file and lightly sanded down the polymer just a small amount. I then felt the entire frame looking for raised areas, and rough areas on the black polymer. When I found them, I very lightly sanded them as well. Cleaned, lubed and re-assembled. 1,000 rounds later, not a single failure with 18 or 21-round factory mags.

3:35 I think your double action problems are likely due to excessive dry firing. Some people dry fire guns not knowing it can cause firing pin damage. Its not an issue with some guns but i never dry fire my guns to avoid possibly causing firing pin damage.

The value series S&W pistols off of the 5904 gen 3 design, I have the 910 and it accepts the larger capacity magazines, excellent firearms

I here they have striker issues as well. The part behind the firing pin is hitting something inside the firing pin housing at or before about 500 rounds. My LFA AMP, of course, is not the same firearm that had to be broken in had similar issues, but after the break-in period, no problems and a few tweaks put no your not the only one with issues. Wait, you have the bergandy one 😂

Canik themselves have said that the cerakote was done on purpose to give it a shadowed look, And that box of Blazer does specifically on the back not to use with comps or ports. I read online that a lot of people are having good luck with magtec. I just finished lubing and cleaning mine for its first shots, wish me luck, hope I got one of the good ones

I wouldn't call these new. They've had them on shelves since late 2022, so if the issues hadn't been resolved when this video was made, i doubt they're resolved now either. Edit: they don't even have the grip frames listed on their website, just the guns and complete slide assemblies, I think they've just about given up on it.

Cci says on the box Dont use on compensated barrel. Some people have noticed to much oil in the firing pin channel also.

I had very similar issues and it was easily fixed by changing the ammunition I used. I also got a message from Jacob and the only response I got was “that is strange” “here is how you send it in”. Sounded like a bunch of bs and I took the advice I got to change ammunition and it is smooth as could be.

That large of a gap isn't supposed to be like that. I have a Hellcat and the same optic and have no gap. However it did fit rather snug. Its definitely a tolerance issue but not that much. I used to work in a machine shop and fixtures many times have locating pins for mounting. You could always tell when tolerances were on the edges because the fit was much tighter to slip on and get off. Either a tolerance issue or the MFG isn't paying attention to surface finish buildup causing the fit issue. No matter what the gap isn't supposed to ge that big. Those 4 posts help to keep it from moving in the x and y direction. The screws are supposed to keep the optic mounted in the z direction

I think it's one of the nicer sub compacts available. The range bag is really handy for going plinking.I carry 3 guns in mine.

I have the Dark Earth Talon edition and I think it's a beauty. For the money it definitely plays above it's weight class.
