At VMP Performance the need for speed meets modern technology. Founders Justin and Rebecca Starkey strive for innovation and leadership in everything they do. This quest for perfection has driven VMP Performance’s evolution over the years. In the early 2000s, VMP began working with SCT founders to properly calibrate late model EFI vehicles. As needs in the automotive aftermarket grew, VMP saw opportunities beyond custom tuning. VMP added product development to their repertoire. The search for more horsepower culminated in the launch of the VMP line of superchargers. Today, VMP operates a modern e-commerce business focused on aftermarket automotive upgrades with customers all over the world. The company’s headquarters are in New Smyrna Beach Florida on a 12 acre campus. VMP offers custom tuning and installations in addition to the line of VMP performance parts and supporting components from quality manufacturers.
2024 Mustang GT Dyno Shootout: VMP Gen 6 Supercharger vs Odin Level 2 Supercharger
One of the most frequently asked questions we’ve gotten as of late is “Why did you go Whipple for the ‘24?”, and today, we’re going to answer it. We installed both our Odin TVS based supercharger and our Gen 6 Twin-screw based supercharger on our ‘24 Mustang GT and took it to the dyno for pulls and data logging to break down our decision making process. They were on the same calibration, running the same fuel, and pullied for the same peak boost!

This guy Went from talking about how Good the ODIN is months ago now he Talks down on it. There is a video of this same Odin with LESS BOOST making 700 wheel on a Gen 3. Now that they partners with whipple all of a sudden Odin making less power on more psi. VMP will say whatever keeps them in Business. Very untrustworthy now days. Never trust a man who turns on his own (company/family/friends)

that was a cool test and obviously the Whipple is more efficient. though to have a true efficiency reading you need to use an intake flow meter to get accurate results the horsepower and torque will be much closer, but the test would show the difference in parasitic losses

Wait…you have a video of the Odin making 730 on a 2018 gen 3. On less boost. What is going on here? Does that mean the 2018 is better than the 2024 gen 4? Or are you down playing Magnuson because you’re on the whipple train now. Roush is making the same power with basically an Odin with dual throttle body. All you’re doing is confusing people.

Ahhh who would’ve thought a bigger displacement SC making more HP and your tune is set specifically to the Whipple blower and gen 4 motor. Also curious how much R&D went into optimizing the tune of VMP blower for the Gen 4 motor. This is NOT an apples to apples comparison. Ok HOLD up. Time to answer some questions. Firstly, HOW/WHOS tune is being used with the ODIN? Whipple's tune? Stock tune?? There is no other tuning solution for the 24, so the ODIN is gimped by a whipple tune... Geee no wonder the whipple won. Also did you see all the knock it was picking up when you ran the ODIN? That car was chuffing out the back like a steam train... What a loaded test man. You 100% would be able to match or beat the whipple if you were able to tune the ODIN correctly. That 2650 rotor pack is so much more efficient than the whipple we all know that and you proved it running the same boost as the "GEN 2" 3L whipple... What a shit show this was.

I have no doubt the 3.0 makes more power with everything equal but why neuter the 2.65 with a twin 69 and not use the 163R? I would guess the same pulley would make another 20-30 whp with the big mono. Yes it may say a little more boost but it would still make more power even with a 3.6 pulley on the 2.65.
They keep on saying Whipple partnership......what's different besides the design on top of the lid? It's the same exact blower that Lethal has except with their own Lethal lid decal on top as well😂. Same blower between Whipple/Lethal/VMP. Marketing strategies for the S650 have just been a youtube circus all across the board
