Tips for Street Preaching & Personal Witnessing
Here are some good general tips for both street preaching (the right way) and personal witnessing--complete with videos snippets of them in use--Some fit both contexts, some don't (open-airs are more edgy to keep the crowd and one-to-one is more quiet and patient--but BOTH are loving and right).

Vision of the Father: Powerful and Personal
zhlédnutí 9KPřed 11 lety
Fatherhood in our day is sadly lacking. Maybe it's due to a misunderstanding of our Heavenly Father. If there is a major point often overlooked in the oft preached passage Isaiah 6, perhaps it's the "personalness" of our Father. In his typical, gripping style infused with insight and dramatic illustrations, Dr. Mark Rutland humbly offers his vision of our powerful, yet always personal, Holy, He...
Preach the Word! Remembering Our Sacred (and Simple) Task
zhlédnutí 10KPřed 11 lety
Great message for those weary in well-doing or needing a fresh renewal of the call once again. At times we can get so caught up in the work of the Lord that we neglect the Lord of the work...and major on minors forgetting our primary calling (as pastors especially, but all Christians in general to varying degrees). Need a fresh dose of the passion to proclaim? This could be what you're looking ...
Vision of the Spirit: The Spirit-Filled Life in Acts
zhlédnutí 9KPřed 11 lety
Another great message from Dr. Rutland. Having come from both historical-traditional and Pentecostal denominations, he unveils the often misunderstood Holy Spirit in a very balanced and personal way. As his "Vision of the Son" reminds us that Jesus is the real focus of the Revelation, he reminds us here of the focus of Acts. It's not the 'fireworks' but the leading and forming of the faithful. ...
POWER, Not Power: The Genuine Power In the Life of Jesus
zhlédnutí 9KPřed 11 lety
How often does the Church (and Christians) make the mistake of trying to live by the wrong power? Here, through the lives of Jesus, the Apostles, and personal (and dramatic) experience, Dr. Rutland reminds us of what Jesus was trying to convey all along. It is by POWER, not power; HIS power not another. It's about the KINGDOM, not our kingdom. Again, sorry for the quality. I have permission to ...
Vision of the Son: Experiencing the Book of the Revelation
zhlédnutí 7KPřed 11 lety
An overview of Jesus and the great themes in Revelation. A great view from a more Eastern perspective. NOT an 'end-times' message, better. A somewhat lengthy intro explaining where he's going (since it's not the usual approach). But, well worth (even repeated) viewing. Sorry for the quality. Though I have permission to share it, the video company had no archives of it. See also: Vision of the S...
True & False Conversion
zhlédnutí 64KPřed 12 lety
Ray Comfort draws out the Biblical truth of true and false conversion from the parable of the soils and encourages us to examine ourselves, as Scripture commands, in lights of these truths. Though largely ignoring the 'thorny' soil that further illustrates the danger of genuine Christians falling back into spiritual death, Ray does a great job.

Thank you so much for your honesty and transparency. You are not far from the Kingdom. Just as recognizing a fatal disease is a critical beginning step, so is recognizing one’s willful treachery against God. Most never come as far as you are. It’s good you care about righteousness (being right). But we can never be/get right on our own (it’s be like murdering a king’s sin then trying to make it right with by doing some of what he says to do). You say you don’t repent (turn away from sins as best you know how). IF that means you won’t, there is no hope while in that state of mind. But IF you mean you haven’t, then hope abounds. Repent before God telling him what you’ve done, and ask him to forgive you, cleanse your heart & mind, and heal your spirit. Put your trust in Jesus and his death on the cross and resurrection. Then get up and live like it’s true. Find a church where they take the Bible seriously (we all need help and a tribe to walk this out well) and read the Bible for yourself (start in Mark to get to know Jesus better). That help any?

Ray, I appreciate your ministry and use your tools but your approach to teaching 'free from the law' is misleading. See Matthew 5:19 and Romans 6:15 (may it never be). We are freed, so that we may obey His law from the heart (v17). See also 1 John 3:4, sin is lawlessness and righteousness is following God's law. Also, beware of the false teaching of 'once saved, always saved.' If you can hear your own words of "genuine false" conversion, it is a contradiction that doesn't even make sense: See Hebrews 3:13 and 6:6. We need to stop spreading false doctrines coming from seminaries.

It may surprise you to learn that the phrase “Repent of your sins” or “Repent from your sins” is not found anywhere in the Bible. The word of God does not demand repentance from sin to be saved. Biblical repentance is directly tied to biblical revelation. This is not a turning from sin rather this is a changing of mind about who and what could solve your sin problem. Ray in his videos says that believing is a righteous work? This would have to be nothing but confusing to a nonbeliever. the Gospel of John quotes believe over 100 times and is mentioned over 200 times in the New Testament alone. Mainly it's God's will that we believe, of cause just believing without faith and trust in the cross is not enough to be saved but God's gift of Grace responding the call of the Holy Spirit is a done deal. Telling people to stop sinning when we clearly cannot and those that say they do not are lying and have sinned. Believing that we are responsible to keep the Law leads inevitably to the inability to stop sinning. When we disagree with God and hang onto the idea that we must fulfill the law, we lose our joy in salvation and set ourselves up for failure. The only way to break the cycle and stop sinning is to accept the fact that we cannot stop sinning. Christ fulfilled the Law and the moment we come to terms with that we will have joy and peace. Romans 7 seems to be a chapter that living waters seems not to relate regarding its perfect depiction of struggling with the flesh! How would you witness to Paul, would you say to him stop sinning?? He knows his struggle with the flesh. A last thought what about the thief on the cross...HE JUST BELIEVED, he did not have time to discuss all the theological angles he saw Christ in the flesh and believed we see Christ through the scriptures, believe and trust in him, Faith alone, Christ alone! Romans 4:5 “And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,” Romans 4:5 Jonah 3:10 proves that turning away from evil ways is work, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Repenting of Sin is a WORK! And does not save you (Ephesians 2:8-9) Tell us it’s “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:30-31 “And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (change of mind) and believe in the gospel.” (Jesus Christ) Mark 1:15.

I’d offer to step out in faith. Role play with others to practice would help. Over time, you’ll notice folks typically have the same questions and objections, so you’ll know the answers better. Meanwhile, it’s ok saying you don’t know, or ask others to slow down do you can respond. The call in mainly ti the conscious, which takes practice to not get to distracted. Basically, I’d offer you prayerfully step out and trust the Lord. Don’t be too surprised when he grants knowledge, wisdom, and abilities beyond what you thought possible.

Could you ever imagine a more obnoxious group than these insane street preachers who imagine they have a God given right to disturb the peace and annoy everyone around them? Imagine you're in an open air restaurant or cafe sitting down to relax and enjoy your food and these God freaks are standing outside with their loudspeakers and amplifiers bleating on about their religious fantasies. The noise is ruining your meal and the hecklers are making it worse by encouraging the Jesus freaks to become louder and louder, other people in the cafe become agitated and decide to complain which makes the self appointed preachers determined to become more annoying. At the lower end of the scale it's just plain rude and at the higher end it might lead to violence which the preachers would welcome as it would make them martyrs to their cause. IT'S TIME FOR ALL LOUDSPEAKERS AND AMPLIFIERS USED IN PUBLIC TO BE MADE ILLEGAL EXCEPT FOR PUBLIC AUTHORITIES. Let's bring back peace and quiet for people on the streets.

True conversions barely happen with audience, and they only can happen when both sides are open to learn. Preachers teach the bible , and will anyway turn anything they learn from people with other believes around till it fits in their ideology. Pay attention: Your bible is only 3000 years old, humans like us (homo sapiens) exist since 300,000 years. In none of the millions of artefacts, cave paintings, scriptures or any other testimony in the 297,000 years before the bible, your “one and only” god was ever mentioned. Your version of a “one and only” god is an invention only 3000 years old. One day your religion will disappear like any other religion. Humans then will still exist :) Have a great day:)

HERE SOME TIPS FOR STREET PREACHING: - If you want to teach people then dont try to act as if you want to discuss, when then you anyway dont accept convictions and opinions of other people - Dont go on gay events if you think according gto your ideology they cant live their homosexual lifes: Trying to destroy the self-acceptance in mental, spiritual and physical healthy homosexuals will not make you good people, its actually EVIL. - Stay self-critic: Your bible is only 3000 years old, humans like us (homo sapiens) exist since 300,000 years. In none of the millions of artefacts, cave paintings, scriptures or any other testimony in the 297,000 years before the bible, your “one and only” god was ever mentioned. Good observation; it’s supposed to be 1Tim1:8. And YES, there is hope for all who see their need. It seems some specific sin/s are brought to your mind by the Holy Spirit. That is God convicting you tu draw you to himself to cleanse, heal, and forgive you. Go to him and confess your sin and repent (turn away from them) as best you know how. Surrender to him and trust him for all this. You’ll never ultimately regret doing what’s right. Then keep in the Scriptures, prayer, and trusting him enough to follow him by doing as he says. Jesus thinks you are worth all he went through; he is FOR you. He’s made a way out from under God’s wrath and into new life. Don’t harden yourself, go to him; he’s waiting ❤️. If you follow through, tell someone and find some genuine Christians ti walk through life together with. I’m excited for you!

Tip #1: Don’t preach anything about ancient unproven gods. No one is listening in 2022. Save your breath until you have evidence for anything you are saying. Educated individuals do not need to be preached. Illiterate low IQ followers are you current audience. No one believes in ancient gods or they soon won’t. Religion is a scare tactic for the illiterate. Good luck as all religions are dying faster than goats following their herder off of a cliff. Fact! Cheers!!

If all backsliders are false converts then why did the Lord call them backsliders? A backslider is one he is slidding back from the teaching of Gods word. They turn their back of the Lord like Judas did. Remember Judas was chosen of the Lord to be one of the disciples. What about peter he was a true disciple but he denied the lord and even cussed. They were true Christians. what about Adam and eve? David?

Ray Comfort is an unsaved reprobate minister of Satan, backloading, double talking, fruit inspecting, devil. He is so good at showing people that they are sinners in need of a saviour, but then he adds works to the gospel message. Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation. How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance? You absolutely can't. Jonah 3:10 calls turning from sins, "works". "And God saw their works that they turned from their wicked way..." Repentance of sins is a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. If repentance of sins helps save you in any way then it had better be perfect repentance. God's standard is absolute perfection, not your best efforts. Trying doesn't count. Not even one sin is allowed to be in Heaven. The book of James says that if you follow the whole law and offend in one point you are guilty of all. Oops, so much for helping out with your salvation by attempting to repent of your sins. When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life! Salvation is absolutely free, instant, and eternal, recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are for temporal fellowship with God here on earth and for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another. Ray Comfort lowers God's standard of absolute perfection down to some attainable for him standard of so called Holy living. That's for service, not salvation. He has another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation. He get around the whole works thing by saying that God grants repentance of sins. No, if that's true then it would have to be perfect repentance. God grants repentance unto the acknowledgement of the truth. The only Repentance that saves is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
