In the summer of 1965, this Berkeley High School 11th grader thought he knew everything about dancing until I spent the summer in North Carolina with my granny and cousins. These folks introduced me to The Spinners and The Four Tops and dances that would make Dick Clark's American Bandstand folks sit down to take notes. Come the end of August back in Cali showing my little dancing azz off at every party. Thank you Spinners and my country cousins for my life long dance techniques.
