5:01 I just wanna clarify, here you say the 3DS and Gamecube/Wii games you tried played well. But in the footage before, Mario 3D land was hitching every few seconds. Did they start running better after that or is that just decent for this handheld price bracket?

I have an ANbernic Arc S , the linux one. And the system no longer boots, a couple months into owning it it would just boot forever. I contacted Anbernic about it and they suggested unhooking the battery for a while to like "reset it". Didn't solve the problem, and they have no other ideas. That was last fall, and I never got it working again. So I just don't want another Anbernic. It's unfortunate because it ran Saturn games well enough (atleast the 2D and easier 3D games) and had all the keys mapped for me correctly. It was one of the smoother user experiences. That's like the fifth emulator handheld I've tried over the last few years. And they all end poorly, except the Miyoo Mini. So I've just given up on the whole market. Next handheld I'm gonna buy is a Steamdeck, and I won't bother with anything arm anymore. For the curious, the handhelds I had were the: - GKD CLassic Plus (stopped booting completely) - Retroid Pocket 2 (ran really poorly, UI was terrible. I just didn't enjoy using it) - Anbernic Arc S (boot loop, but was nice to use sometimes). - Miyoo Mini (kinda perfect, but limited and made a little too uncomfortable. Despite liking it so much I don't use it because I don't want to play many games with the cramped grip). - Retroid Pocket 2S (works great, just a clunky UI. I actually still use this a bit). I really just want a very portable x86 computer that can handle emulators and light indie games. But the Steamdeck is the next best thing.

Recently a brazilian company named Tec Toy announced they'll release a new mini PC named Zeenix. It just so happens that that mini PC is basically the AYN Loki Max. Maybe they got a licensing agreement and that might be the reason the original model was discontinued.

question, does this also work with GBA/GBC/GB games as well? because if I wanted for example: Pokemon Crystal with a friend and they have the virtual console version of Pokemon Gold on his 3DS and I put a Pokemon Crystal rom (like the actual Pokemon rom, not the hacked ones) could I still use it as a 3DS Virtual Console game or is that a no?

Most PSX games use the d-pad for directional input anyway. Analog sticks were optional until much later in the console's life, and even then, we're only talking about a few games that took full advantage of the dual shock's analog sticks anyway.

-i bought a dsi and a 3ds hoping that ill be able to install the ds games on the 3ds and use download play to play coop with my dsi, but it turns out you cant sadly, it only works if you had the games as a cartridge, unless im doing something wrong which i hope i am because at least there would be hope, or maybe ill just put a cfw on the dsi and that would solve it- edit: okay nvm it works with all games except mario kart ds for some reason edit 2: it does work with mario kart ds but you gotta follow a tutorial its very simple, just search for "mario kart ds download play" and follow the steps in emiliano san cristobal's video

Having the AYN Loki Max in White, I love it but the triggers is just...there is just too much of a deadzone so I really wish that could be sorted otherwise I'd use it more.
