I'm so glad that I came across this video! A friend sold me a midload bat several years ago and thought midload was the new lingo for balanced. But, when taking swings with the midload bat, it feels completely different than any balanced bat I have. Thanks for putting together this video to explain the differences!

This is a misleading title to your video. I was anticipating a review that shows all bat manufacturers like Worth, Louisville, DeMarini, Mizuno, Easton and so on. You have a bias review of bats since you aren't an authorized dealer other than what you sell. This is a review on not all bats just want you have. One piece bats, better for Canada dome ball? With those Juggs Softee sofrballs?

I'm trying to solve this for myself and understanding the physics. I'm coming from a golfing background and I'm trying to sort out fitting myself. I know in principal balance bats are for contact hitters but are there a significant number of professional and high-level ball players that swing for power with a balanced bat? For example the person that comes to my mind all the time is Eric Davis. I feel like he had super fast hands his swing didn't seem like a very body driven swing like Ken Griffey or Mark McGwire or something like that. So I get that with an end-loaded bat you're going to use more of your body to catch it up kind of like a sledgehammer. But what I want to know are there some power hitters that use a more balanced bat or less and loaded basically essentially make up for it with their with their arms or some other mechanic versus just a hips and legs Etc? Obviously within reason

awesome video, I currently have a 12 inch heart of the hide that was gifted to me. I play 3rd/SS for my softball team and played 3rd all of my life in baseball so I'm used to a smaller glove, it doesn't bother me. For softball, am I at a disadvantage and is it worth it to upgrade to a 12.5-13.5?

I'm not a power hitter. I don't want to pay a fortune for a bat. I played years ago with a single wall 26 oz Carl Rose signature. I was an amazing bat, forgiving with huge barrel...what can I get these days comparable.....I hate end loaded
