Too many people go solar with the wrong loan. Sometimes it's the fault of the salesperson for not giving options or know to give options. Sometimes the company the salesperson works for hasn't trained them properly on how to analyze the client 's situation and goals and optimize the financing to help them achieve their goals.
Would you like to get started with a consultation? If so, then please fill out the form in the link below. Once received, my assistant Cody will call you back afterwards to explain next steps in receiving a thorough consultation and quote from us. Thank you for watching the channel.

    Rip Sunpower (filed bankruptcy today). I've enjoyed selling against them this last 10 years. Writing was on the wall a mile away. Sunrun ftw! Fyi I push ownership as a personal preference yet many customers CHOOSE the PPA.

    Good information - thank you. Two big questions: Where is the temperature measured - ambient temperature or the glass surface, or the silicon surface? Here in Phoenix 112 F is nothing. I'm guessing the silicon is in the 140s or higher. Also, what does one of these panels cost the installer, and what should a consumer expect to pay?

    Thank you, you've convinced me to not get solar panels installed on my home. I remember when; if you wanted satellite TV you had to install these very large receiving dishes on your property. Then skip a decade and the dishes were 1/100 the size for the same service at a fraction of the price. Now, I no longer need those small dishes as I have high bandwidth cable and can stream and enjoy internet access at speeds we never dreamed of back then. These solar panels on your roof are going to be obsolete well before the 25-year lifespan when you sell your house and no buyer is going to consider them a value, because the new technology will be far better and cheaper than the old stuff.

    • @Superiorsolarconsulting
      @Superiorsolarconsulting Před 12 dny

      To my knowledge EG4 falsified some UL listings and it screwed a bunch of jobs up so CED dropped them which is usually the barrier of entry for contractors to support and trust a brand. I don’t see any contractors willingly installing EG4 products. They’re mostly marketed as a DIY kit product

    I asked about the QTRON 425 in your last video because I had just had them installed in December. Thanks for covering them now. I'm in NH, and so far my highest real "NMOT" was more than 327.8W. I say that because I get clipping from my Enphase IQ8M inverters (330VA peak). That was in the colder months and the sun was close to 90degrees to the panels. My panels are on a 40degree pitch roof - close to my latitude of 43.5 degrees. Now that it is hotter and the sun is higher, I'm seeing almost no inverter clipping - meaning the panels are probably generating about 328W at peak sun. The inverters were sized to the NMOT of the panels, and sometimes I wish I had the IQ8As that go to 366VA. So if you want to capture all of the power from the QTRON 425s (i.e.. no clipping), go with IQ8As if you are in a colder climate and you roof pitch is close to your map latitude.

    I bought from SunRun a company one should run away from. Extra un-needed costs. I bought the house three years ago, and was told by the SunRun rep who came out and looked at the house that I had to replace the roof because it was probably the same tar paper from when it was built in the 70s. After they did it, a neighbor told me that it had been replaced a few months before I bought the house. I was told I had to move the A/C condenser to the other side of the house, for Code issues (too close to the fuse box) and because I would be getting three batteries, since I told the sales rep my sister is on a ventilator and I need to ensure that I have backup that would last 48hrs so I could arrange for her to get to a hospital if the power was out for more than 24 hrs. First power outage we had the battery (only one not the three they charged for) lasted less than four hours. I ended up having to hand bag her (Hand held ventilation bag) for almost six hours over night until the Sun came out in the AM and her machine came back on. The caring folks at SunRun who told me I would not need the gas backup power once I had the Solar in place could not have been more rude when I complained. I told the Coordinator that I have Rescue dogs, they had history of abuse so wanted at least 48 hrs advanced notice when work would occur so I could board them. Nope showed up at 7AM started pounding on the roof without any notice. Frightened dogs and poop all over as well as regression. The paperwork for the work and the load through another bad provider (Goodleap) was thick enough to choke a horse, when I wanted to read through it the Notary they sent kept saying, "SunRun is careful to make sure you get what you agreed to." Never got the copies that I was promised, and when I questioned SunRun over not getting three batteries, and why the Electric Company drains the battery to less than 50% each night they said, Oh we have you agreeing to that on a recorded call. I've got a fairly good memory, and with the issues I have with my sister, I would not have agreed to it.

    My only regret is that I didn't buy a bigger inverter, and should have gotten ~13 kW instead of 10.6. I'm thinking I may replace some of the panels with higher wattage panels later if system output falls, or add some on my east facing rooftop. My electricity bill is now about $400 (fees another $400) a year. There is no way I'm going to be able to zero out those $400 in electricity costs in any cost effective manner, as they are all from off peak or super off peak.

  • @tjmozdzen
    @tjmozdzen Před 19 dny

    Having competent installers is 75% of the deal. Next, do you go with micro inverters or micro-optimizers. Next, Battery and software. I don't think the solar panel. type is that important. 375 and up should be good enough 400 W is better. I went with a local guy who turns out didn't know how to connect batteries. System sat for 4 months before he found someone. Tesla not answering the phone scared me away from them. So agreed - don't use the big boys.
