I enjoy digging into the secrets of history and World War Two that no one talks about. In fact, did you know.....
The US navy had two flying aircraft carriers?
During WW2 a private in the 101st airborne made beer runs for his wounded friends during the battle of Bastogne?
A fearless major strapped bazookas to his tiny fabric-covered Piper Cub airplane to take on six German Tiger tanks?
These WWII heroics fascinate me, and hopefully they will fascinate you as well!
Thank you for checking-out History X!

How could the bodies reach the bottom intact with the pressure their should have been nothing and the shoes should be randomly scattered because not like they were attached to the bodies
I believe Dr. Ballard. Bones
Is this the one they got 99% finished, but when they started it up to try to fly it out the engine caught fire and burned up the whole plane?
Interesting but so tragic!
2 HOURS!!!
These explanations don’t account for deep sea animals moving some of the shoes around in order to get to the flesh inside.
I bet they were not pairs. A the buoyancy of a body could hold it up, suspended sometimes for days, whereas a vessel would have landed at the bottom very quickly, then you have missed the fact that marine life would have shaken the body worrying it, until body parts could be miles apart. I wonder how far did the furthest body part get scattered. You could well find wreckage and body parts in the Australian waters. Come on be reasonable. What you need to ask is what happened to bodies inside submarines years after the boat was sunk.
We should talking about the creation of the Federal Reserve.
It’s not NOAH it’s National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration NOAA
Thomas mc. Cann dumped out old dated shoes overboard
Some of the animals down in the deeper regions of the sea, they look more akin to some type of plant than they do any animal. Like a sea lilly. Silly things can teeter over and walk using their "petals", dragging their stalk behind them, and actually relocate. What a strange and wholly unique animal..
Worms ate the bones.
The shoes of the men who let the women and children get onto the life boats before them.
Umm, iron ore that is underground is not radioactive from residue in the atmosphere. The motivation given here is pretty sketchy. You don't have to salvage pre A-bomb ships to get non radioactive metal.
They spent a fortune putting new engines and stuff on it and were going to try to fly it back when it caught fire during a taxi test and burned to a crisp.
Yea and after 50 yrs they pulled the engines etc. So no it didn’t just start after a little maintenance. But it’s a very interesting and heart breaking documentary.
Why not shirts and pants?
The sea claimed them.
So sad as they didn't have to die...conspiracy theories surround the true way this ship was sunk.
I’m surprised China hasn’t tried to salvage the metal.
Impossible
If the body was frozen think would stay in that position?
What about the submarine?
Both.
I think Jack is one of those fell in the Titanic debris.
Bones, not every shoe would be from a body but I’m certain that some of them were. Come on guys 1500 people died and a lot were never seen again. It’s not at all impossible.
Human float when they die in water
I thought the German submeriane sunk to the olympic ship in 1930
WHOA! This guy painted a REAL PICTURE of what happened.
APU caught fire and plane was a total loss
Big fan of Dan. People who cut down or say don’t do it, I have found are very insecure
When I got the book it was one of those that you just hated to put down. Great story, amazing divers and detective work. Well done!
Cheerful chap.
You are a fu**ing idiot. You could just flip the plane over...
They would've exploded dud to the pressure of the deep sea. This guys dumb
Very interesting
Why the goofy music?
The red paint must have been ''Dulux'' to last that long a great story thanks.!
Probably a little of both.
Did they ever get it started
Old school engineering. Fuel and air, you're away
This dude is enjoying this way too much...
I don't understand the ENDLESS fascination with the Titanic.
titanic is a big graveyard,we should let them rest in peace
One theory that I haven't heard is that people were in a panic as the ship was sinking, grabbing any shoes within reach to make their way to the lifeboats. It was undoubtedly chaos, and there may never be an empirical explanation for what we can see today. My real opinion is that no matter what, this is a mass gravesite and should be given the respect and dignity it is due. We are fortunate to have the science and technology to go this far, but to try and ascertain exactly what became of these poor souls is just a bit morbid. 9:22
5 years & a drum of calcium carbonate. Gamble soup 😂
