Eternal Sonata really is a game of extremes. The environments are amazing, but the dialogue...holy crap the dialogue. I appreciate that you can appreciate it. It's not for grown-up me, I can say that much. You're right that the English dub didn't help matters. Viola though...Viola's cool. The Xbox 360 version had NO frame-rate issues at all. The PS3 and Switch ports ran like arse. As for the sequel, I shan't even bother. It's stop motion. Poor developers and optimisation.

I agree that Dante's design in DMC2 is peak but I can't get behind DMC 2 as a whole, but I appreciate that's largely because I can't see past what I wanted it to be as a DMC game. In another world I could see it being a cult classic if it didn't have DMC on the box.
