Big Apple Story
A Film by Steve Siegel and Phil Buehler. BIG APPLE STORY is a surrealist nightmarish depiction of New York City's fiscal crisis of the 1970s.-- when the City was teetering on the brink of bankruptcy. The film chronicles the journey of a Big Apple-- a 6-foot piece of fruit. Along the way, Big Apple wanders onto the set of a TV game show, where it is forced to choose between prizes behind Door #1 and Door #2. Unfortunately, Big Apple's experience as a game show contestant is not fruitful, and our hero returns to the streets in pitiful condition. To reveal any more would lessen the (ap)peal of this ripe and juicy tale of intrigue.

Инсайды это лютая грязь, люди едут на свою тупую работу и еще грязь внутри, я люблю тэги только с наружи или на стенах, но в инсайде это фигня полная…
Hello Steven! Quick question. How can I view this longer documentary and, if someone is working on a video of their own, is it alright by you if parts of your video are shown? Anything shown, your channel be credited of course, directing viewers to your channel and the full documentary. Not for my channel but a much bigger one. Just wanted to check! If not, totally understandable! Thank you for your time! You have a great channel .
I remember Times Square W 42nd St NYC in the 80s. I was a kid and me, my brother and my mom had to drive down there to pick up my sister when she was addicted to drugs and drive back to Jamaica Queens NY 😩

So beautiful.
Does anyone know the song playing at 10:39 please been trying to find it for a long time!!!
5:47 it's interesting that the lady being interviewed is not shown, but rather Snow Leopards; why are CRITICALLY ENDANGERED, the lady is talking about being poor while Snow Leopards themselves are being driven off the planet too, due to over hunting, habitat encroachment, ect
the snow leopards face many of the same problems poor people do too
Best clips of that era. Thank you! The birth of the urban scene.
Honestly one of the reasons i would wish to live in the 1980's
watch romania subways now
BROO FACTS 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Only 2000 people murdered a year then lol. Cool to see though
Transfer the money and power to narcissists with college educations and suits. Clean the area up and make it look sanitized and feel safe. Meanwhile, keep the same vices going underground, now controlled by the corporate narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths and Americans will go on with their daily lives and not ask a single question...until it hits too close to home! And that's how narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths do it folks!
That clown mask was nice and creepy
When the Westies ruled hell's kitchen.
The 1980s in NYC toilet bowl of hookers, pimps, pushers, perverts, deranged serial killers, rapists, aids, crack heads, bums, the 5 crime family's, transvestites. Welcome to the big apple people. 👊
But i bet people would take THIS version...vs today...
I miss the sleaze.
I truly miss the days of going to arcades and actually using my skills to prolong entertainment while meeting new folks. Arcades were easy, safe, secure places where you met and hook up with anyone and since everyone has similar hobbies the hook ups were easy and friendly. Today it is hard to find people who you can date, because the arcades and places like them are long gone and there aren't any safe, secure environments anymore. Most environments we have now are dangerous and if you are alone it can end badly, especially with the sociopaths who can't take rejection well. 😢 The 1980s and 90s were great decades in finding sane, good people.
What is the classical song in this video? Graffiti is the most important modern art movement
