Word of advice…. As a viewer…. Stop all the wasted time with drive time, looking it over, back story, doing basic tune up things and just get it running. And do a short talk about who, what, where and when. I skipped 98% of the video just to hear it run. Your not VGG…. Find your thing and stop all the worthless… I did this, I tried this, gonna do that…. Blah blah blah blah. Luv the truck… hate the patina lazy crap ppl do. Your lazy and trying to make crap be kewl. Bring it back to life and make it look and run as if it was built on the day it went down the production line.
@@saltyoperator7435 thanks for your Sage words of wisdom. While I can appreciate everybody's opinion, I like to do things the way that I do them. I'm not trying to be like anybody else, like vgg, and I for one absolutely love the patina look, and will continue in this fashion. While I would hate to lose even one single viewer, again I can appreciate your opinion, and even your choice of restoration or video of repair. I'm a tweak a few things on upcoming videos, but our opinion is of the patina paint finish, and making something run down the road, that doesn't look like it should be.
@@saltyoperator7435 we aren't trying to make a fortune off of videos, if it happens, it happens, we just do what we do, and we're sharing it with the world. Anyone out there with a like mind is welcome to watch. Again, not trying to be rude, or condescending in any way, just letting you know that while I can appreciate your advice, I have my own path, and I'll continue to follow it. Thanks again for watching, hope you enjoyed a small part of it. Have a great day
@@rustynutsgarage4099 good for you… if all your saying is true STOP doing what someone else is doing. Im completely serious when I said I skipped 98% of your video. Don’t care about all the useless crap…. Cap toter… plugs… oil… pump… gas lines… brakes… what’s in the back/trunk what…. What the cab smells like or blah blah blah. Only want to see a old forgotten vehicle live again. VGG does all the bs… that’s him and his brand. I luv PBG bc he’s just simple and effective. Do your thing… get these vehicles up and running but don’t go near what VGG does. A walk around… a history.. what’s in the glove box…. Just get it up and running… please. I’ve checked out of so many “car guys” bc I’m tired of the same old crap. Blah blah blah blah. Im not a boob tuber… I’m someone that watches boob tube… and ppl like me are what give ppl like you views and allow ppl like you to get money from boob tube. As a customer I’m telling you I don’t want to see this crap. I already watch VGG. So go argue with someone else. I was only trying to help you be better then the rest of the idiots on here.
@@rustynutsgarage4099 ok… I’ll put this simply. You are a pour version of Wal Mart… I already have the real Wal Mart I’m not interested in a wanna be Wal Mart Become your own brand and do your own thing but as long as you do Wal Mart things I will not support or watch your content. I’m the customer…. So don’t tell me what’s what or who what where or why. I just wanted to help you…. But you do you bud…. I only need 1 A and don’t care about spin off crap of 1 A. Get it? Does it make sense now? Or do I have to just flat out say your a cheap knockoff? When I was a kid we called it “buddies” your the “buddies” of VGG Basically wal mart shoes vs Jordan’s. And your getting angry at me and attacking me bc I called you out and suggested a different strategy in your content. My bad… I guess I should just be. Braindead idiot that just seal claps for everything.
@@rustynutsgarage4099 dude don’t care what who where or when your doing. I’m only a person that watch’s videos. I’m the customer….. you are a seller of a product. I shared my opinion on a video I watched and gave you constructive criticism on what your selling. Don’t h8 at me or try to defend your stance. I didn’t like it bc it’s a cheap version knock off of VGG. That’s my opinion. If you don’t like criticism turn off comments…. If you don’t like what I have to say great. I gave you friendly advice and what I saw in your content. Find yourself… become something different… and be who you are. All I saw was VGG water downed. That’s on you not me. I’m tried of seeing the exact same thing over and over and over and over and over agin. Now… I’m not the person who will make or break you. You do you…. But you sure seem butt hurt over my comment. I don’t wish you anything bad…. I actually want wish you best in life. I’m just a normal old guy that loves old vehicles and luv to see them come back to life. But the vgg brand and 123 steps of videos is rather old to me. I wish you nothing but the best, I pray you have a great life and are very successful. Just understand what I’m saying…. Find yourself and mix it up…. Godbless you God be with you and your family. Now stop bothering me and get on with your life….. please.
I know a Chrysler mechanic and he has a 1964 Plymouth Savoy sedan. It was a "plain wrapper" being it was a former police car used by a detective. It has the police package and was used by the San Diego police department until it was decommissioned in 1969.

Back in 85 somebody stole my 71 Ford F100 long bed fleetside, when I was a teenager in highschool,my dad gave me his truck. Had put some money into it : holly 4 barrel carburetor, headers ,white spoked wheels repainted and new tires, was taking mechanic shop class in school. very disappointing when it happened ..hope to replace it some time. Interested in F-250 4wd 70-72☹️🤠

One time i was heading out to the state fair and i had to make a right turn. Lost most turnio capabilities. I did my best to get into a gas station parking lot. Luckily i bought the coupler already but didn't have the tools to replace it. I called my dad and eventually got it in.

My dad sold these when new. He always had a Squire wagon as his demo. Big, powerful, comfortable car.
We're going to do something special with this car, haven't decided exactly what. It's going to be back on the road though
Autolite 4300 A carb
Why do people bash Edelbrock carbs. I ran one for 25 years and only rebuilt it once in that time. So easy to work on.
Personally, just had a lot of trouble with them due to the ethanol gas. They tend to gum up pretty easily
McTurd-good name for this. Old Class C's have big structural problems with cabover. Have fun with it.

You duck taped the tire? Bahahahahahaha….
Hahaha! It worked until it didn't.
Hay feller I Was wandering if you could tell me if the extra cross member under a 1978 ford F100 Truck hade to come out to get a outamatic transmition out of it.Iam tring to take one out and it want come out from under lt
The extra crossmember to the front of the transmission can be unbolted and removed. It's mainly there just for structural support, but it does need to be removed if you want to take the transmission out.
HAHAHAHHAHAHA DUMB MAGGO- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Too bad that engine is going in a vanilla f100. Wagons are way cooler and this one is worth saving.
We decided to keep the wagon as is, future content to come.
I have the same truck color and all hello from Canada
Good-looking color combination

What's your front tire side love the truck❤❤
I picked that truck up right before it went into the crusher. The tires in the pictures, are 31s by 15s
yup the ole fords tend to move after a long rest
It's amazing the resilience of these old Fords. I've had them sit up to 40 years and just start right up with just a little bit of love.
Love me some Dentside.
These trucks just have that look.❤
Now that is a real truck! I’d take that over a cyber truck any day.
Wait till I clean it up for y'all! LOL
I work for peanuts.
That is a nice ride! I’ve got one the four door sedan, I really enjoy cruising it. Glad to see you brought that back to life, mine has the 727 torqueflite that one probably does.
Good to know we haven't really gotten into it just yet but we're about to.
I'm pretty sure thats a 727 torqueflite transmission and a 2 barrel stromberg carburetor , the carb in the floor board is a thermoquad 4 barrel , its alot later model than a 1964 😊
Thanks for the intel. I am definitely not a Mopar guy, but quickly figured out the two barrel. Can't believe how smoothly this thing runs
Yay thanks for keeping the wagon all original and true❤❤
We actually found another 429 car that we're going to reveal to you all soon. It will definitely be a Doner at some point,
There's nothing wrong with the accelerator pump arm on the carburetor. They are designed with the slot in them so that the linkage doesn't get stressed when the pump bottoms out.
Good to know! Def not a Mopar guy, but love the styling
318 could have either 727 Torqueflite or the smaller 904 Torqueflite, you can tell by the shape of the pan. Nice car!
Thanks for that, somebody else told me about the 904 as well but they didn't explain the difference. In the next video will check out the transmission
"Under pressure" Queen 30:33 in the radio, congrats, great car, rare in Brazil.
Nice find, good video! Could do without the gum smacking half the video…. But good content and I subscribed 👍🏼
Thanks for watching!

Cool young blood said the exhaust broke hope it ain't crush restricted but you did it. Steelies dish
Cool '64 👍👍
Has a good style to it.
A dead battery, and I guess the alternator and voltage regulator will need to be pulled.
A good clean up is in the offing, as is the usual, and obvious mechanical issues. And if she DOES start up right away, of course you know without question that driving her with that bum tie rod, AND overhauling the brakes, is OUT of the question. Don't abandon ship, though. I think she's been orphaned long enough, and she's worth preserving for the long haul..
Our thoughts exactly. We brought them back to life in worse condition. We will have much more to do with this particular old school ride
I work for Pussay
New engie hell cat new Frame new paint, everything in What's a nice A nice at a recent rims on there. Let's go to paint nice nice system in air. Take me to custom shows and stuff. It's a cla. New ontario everything
Before you hack it up,run the numbers and find out if it's rare. If not then do what you want. My guess it's a special option car. I've never seen a 429 4V In a big wagon before. You very well could have something special
It's all good, I have another car that I recently bought, we're going to do some video on it. Something that nobody will mind if I cut into pieces. LOL. Thanks for watching
That’s the name of the company that made the mudguards
