They definitely have their use, and the battery top handle saws help with the noise. BUT, that top of the line Stihl tophandle saw weighs TWICE as much as an Echo 2511.... There's no way in hell I'm using that over the little gas powered Echo.

Stihl is the better saw by far! Wouldn't trade my 261 for anything

I own a Stihl saw and ran saws for a few decades now and love to split wood with my Hults Bruk axe BUT how many of you in CZcams land CRINGES when watching the stand-on a log chop competition with those RAZOR SHARP HEAVY axes that would take your foot or leg off in a fraction of a second!!?? I just can’t even watch that particular competition but the rest of a timber show is awesome 👍🏼

Hey, I know this is an older video but a 550XP mark 2 for less than $600 adding in a pair of Husqvarna chaps $84 and two premium bottles of oil I’m still came out around $700bucks and that was the dealer setting it up with a 20 inch bar and everything taxes included

4 years later and the stihl is lighter than the husky but a lot more expensive and always comes in slower in tests. Things change!

That was a mildly used saw. Great buy. It seems like the previous owners used it long enough to wear down one side of the bar from not flipping the bar over and that's about it. It's still practically a new saw that has just been broken in really good. What a find! Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I hope you have a blast with your new 200t for many years to come! 😁🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I'm so jealous. After having a brand new 200t that I had to let go, and now I couldn't afford even a used one. I'm hoping the Chinese clones of the ms200t don't disappoint too much, since that's what I was able to buy. Fingers crossed that my new saws do ok, since I bought to versions. 🤞☺️

Have you ever had problems with your gas spout getting stuck open? I have one just like it and it seems to be a problem. Perhaps the fuel outside of the States is different and doesn’t cause it to happen!?

50 grams might not sound like much, but add the fact that old Rollomatic bar and 1.6mm chain was a full inch shorter than the 04 Light, and the 1.3mm Super chain has more cutters per inch length of chain, and was still lighter.. That's actually quite considerable!! About Light 04 bar not having the specs stamped into it. Doing your own due diligence (yes, even as customer) goes super far and saves you more time looking stuff up on your computer/phone/at retailers place, IMO having every OEM parts number, etc, on hand, is at least as important as having some bad@ss WCS ported 461. On my computer I actually make a folder for each of my saws where, first and foremost, I store PDF's & Notepad files about what bars and chains I run on them (first and foremost), when I order stuff from dealer/retailer I already know everything I need. And also various parts numbers and available modifications (whether with OEM parts or WCS, etc). Do the research and have it ready at hand, that way, anything you need whether it's new chain, a new spool, or if you wanna convert from .325 to 3/8 with few or many teeth etc, you will have already done the work and can have everything 100% figured out within minutes instead of spending hours researching every time because you won't save the information anyway.

I had 3 stihls--194-261-and a 201 and I got tired of all 3 not starting after they got warm--No dealers could fix them where they would start back till the next day. I got rid of all 3 of them and bought Echo saws. They run and start flawless. They are great saws.
