Alaska - Our Honeymoon Adventure, Hoonah Part 1
8/21/2023. Day 8. Today, after we docked, we took an incredible tour of Hoonah. We were able to see some history of Hoonah as well as watching a totem pole being created. We had two other adventures that were so exciting while we were here, so I had to make a part 2 and 3 for those. #adventure #mountains #cruise #honeymoon

Hi, are you familiar with this "eight mile culverts" place near the Kissimmee river? I'd like to get to it but I'm not too familiar with the area. 27.714993031255805, -81.21515198735062
I had never heard of this before, although it is almost in my back yard when I looked it up, lol. There is not a lot of information online, so I’d suggest getting with someone from River Ranch and you may get more info. Hope this helps.

Who needs enemies when you have friends that say its a good idea to use a fallen tree as a walking stick to forge a raging river!
Or when they just watch their friends make their own decisions to walk across a tubing river that’s flowing gently and decide to film it 😉

Great video! A lot of vid out there on this section, and yours is among the best. Most don’t capture the sick of walking through the water-you nailed that. And yup, the cypress knees’ll reached up and touch ya!

Just discovered this place since moving to Lake Wales a few month ago , in Love with Tiger Creek , absolutely amazingly beautiful. Hiked it from Pfundstein road all the way to Wakeford rd yesterday , hit all the trails , 15 + miles , epic .Great Video Matthew !!!

You know, our trips to Florida have always been a pool & beach sort of thing, I’ve never really thought of backpacking and Florida in the same breath, but now you got me thinking of what I want to do next time we’re down! The flora and fauna are so different from what I’m used to, it’s awesome! Loving all the moss covered tress and palm plants! Going to go look up the FT now
I love the mountains for sure, but Florida really is a unique and diverse place to hike. Take a look at the videos I did on the Pioneer Trail - near Jacksonville, FL. The most recent trip was cut short due to some trail flooding, but there is a full series as well. Not “mountainous” elevation changes, but there are some and it’s a pretty amazing trail.
We love Ocala! My sister got married there. We are Michiganders but always enjoy a winter flight down to the warmer state! I had no idea this trail was there, I definitely have to check it out next time! Subbed :-)

Wow the beach looks so nice with all those dead trees! Makes a great place for sunrise or sunset photography. Also this beach reminds me of another similar beach in Florida. I think it’s called Boneyard Beach. Great video guys! Lots of fun 🤩

Just your normal regular birds - crows, etc. There was a lot of people when we were there, so I am sure that played a part in it. Would love to go explore some of the less touristy parts.
